Since Alyssa Jennings moved to Ohio, 6 weeks ago, she and her neighbour Puck had become best friends.
Alyssa had a crush on Puck. He was the hottest guy she'd ever seen; she loved his hazel eyes, the way he smiled, his muscular body, she loved everything about him. He was so kind and caring; he would stick up for her if someone was horrible.
Puck had a crush on Alyssa. He had never seen someone so pretty! Her sparkling blue eyes, her golden hair, her sweet smile, she was just so… Perfect.
They were both oblivious to each other's true feelings so they were just friends. They would go to the movies, to the mall, to the park or sometimes Alyssa's favourite way to hang out; they would go to the local roller rink and then dinner at Breadstix.
Alyssa might be transferring to William McKinley High School because it is closer to home. But Puck doubts it is a good idea (for an unknown reason) and Alyssa wonders why Puck is hiding something from her if they are best friends?
