This will be: Chapter 1: Sunwane Island.
I'm writing this as a challenge/contest… The idea is to write an mlp:fim fanfic between one to eight thousand words. An adventure story, which may or may not incorporate an alternate universe, and it may take into account one of the story prompts that we got given. But meh, I don't know if I'll use one – or if I have to…. Anyways:
The main 6, and Spike, are looking to go on holiday. Somewhere they can all enjoy, and picking the perfect place couldn't be simpler, withe brochures flying everywhere now that a new Pegasus airline has opened to… 'take earth ponies to places only Pegasi have been before!'
The latest destination: Sunwane Island! An idyllic spot steeped with history, animals and romantic beaches. Twilight and the others go look at an old Atlas that will show them where exactly this Island is, as they start to plan what they are going to do.
But magic, dragon flames, and dust don't mix well. Sending them somewhere they did NOT wish to be.
