A/N: I have no idea why this story came to mind, or the plotline completely changed as I relaxed my brain and just started to write. I hope you like it.

Summary: Kashikoi (Means Clever) (Although it's funny play on Kakashi's name ;)) is a demon fox sent from Akastuki. It gains Naruto's trust and lure's him out of the village. Kakashi notices the fox and keeps an eye on him; he starts to be cautious when Naruto starts to change. Will Kakashi be able to prevent Naruto from leaving, or will he fail again? Will Naruto give in, or will he destroy Akastuki from within the circle. Ita/Naru Kaka/Naru Kashi/Naru
Naruto curled into a ball as they kicked him and punched him. He waited, praying that they would just disappear. He noticed that people stopped beating him up and that someone picked him up. He looked up slightly to find a masked guy carrying him. For some reason, he started to focus on the heart beat. His eyes started to droop and he fell asleep in the comfort of the guy's arms.
"Naruto…" He heard a deep gruff voice in his head.
"Go away…" He told the Fox.
"I'm Sorry Naruto…when you wake up, there will be a gift for you…for my apology," Kyuubi said as he let go of the bond.
Naruto woke up a few hours later. He woke up to a small black and red fox licking his nose. Naruto giggled. The Black Fox jumped down and Naruto got up. He looked around and sighed; he got up and took a shower. The black Fox followed him and he sat out front of the bathroom, giving him space.
Naruto came out a few minutes later and dressed. The black Fox jumped into his arms and he petted the tiny critter.
"I need a name for you…" He told the little Fox. The Fox started to rub against his chin, he giggled. "Maybe I should call you Kashikoi, because you are clever."
He sat there and petted Kashikoi for awhile, losing track of time. Until the pounding at the door, Naruto was starting to feel safe. He got up and answered and slightly frowned when he saw who it was.
"Ohayōgozaimasu Sensei," He said, he really hated his teammates.
"Hello Naruto…we were wondering what took you so long," Kakashi stated.
"I had a visitor last night…" As he finished that statement, Kashikoi came out and wrapped himself around his legs.
Everyone's eyes opened wide as they stared at the black fox, wondering where it came from. Kakashi knew that the fox was following him for awhile, as if it was his protector, lurking in the shadows. No one moved an inch since the fox came into view. The fox's eyes lit up as if it was laughing at them. Naruto reached down and picked up the fox and petted it on his head. The fox nuzzled into his hand and closed its eyes.
"What…what is that?" Sakura screeched.
"A Fox…" Naruto replied simply.
"Where did it come from Baka…?"
"He followed me Sakura-San," He said, he honestly didn't know where the fox had come from, but he wasn't about to give it up.
No one said anything about it, training went as preceding, meaning Naruto sat out as the other two sparred. Kakashi sat back and watched as Naruto played with the fox, not even caring about watching the other's train. He was content petting the fox; he let a real small smile pass through his lips, not noticing he was being watched by anyone else.
'What is that Fox…and what does it have to do with Naruto…?' Kakashi wondered as he watched his student.
