"Enough," an older man commanded the two to shut up.
"But she was the one who did it," the boy complained.

"She's just jealous of me."

"Nuh-uh." This went on until the old man silenced them.
"She's just secretly in love with me."
"Hahahah that's a joke! I hate you."
"Then why are you blushing?" He pointed to her cheeks.
"Hmph," the girl crossed her arms and turned away, "I still don't like you."
"Don't you know the laws of attraction?"
"The laws of what?"
"Attraction."

The girl waited as the boy gathered his thoughts for a moment.
