I sadly still don't own any of the Harry Potter Characters. Those are the property of JK.

Lupin walked down the path to the lake. He was at Hogwarts with Sirius reminiscing about their friends.

"Remember when Jane threw James into the lake for stealing her favorite shirt?" Sirius said. Jane had been James' little sister. She was like a sister to all of them.

"Yeah, and you had to go save him." Lupin said laughing.

All of them except Sirius.

"Why was she so stupid?" Sirius almost shouted slamming his fist on his leg.

"Somewhere there's speaking." Lupin said.

"It's already coming in." Sirius said softly.

"Oh and it's rising at the back of you mind." Lupin continued.

"You never could get it, unless you were fed it." Sirius snapped walking away from Lupin.

"Now you're here and you don't know why." Lupin said softly following Sirius. "But under skinned knees and the skid marks. Past the places where we used to learn. You howl and listen. You listen and wait for the echoes of angels who won't return."

Sirius looked up at Hogwarts. Lupin came up to Sirius and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"I loved her." Sirius said quietly.

"She was everything you want. She was everything you need. She was everything inside of you that you wished you could be." Lupin said thinking back to all of the times he had seen Jane and Sirius together.

"She said all the right things at exactly the right time." Sirius said thinking back to how she had always been able to make him happy in his gloomiest times.

"But she still means to much to you and you don't know why." Lupin said almost asking.

Sirius looked back at Lupin.

"You're waiting for someone to put you together." Lupin continued smiling slightly.

"And you're waiting for someone to push you away." Sirius said rolling his eyes. He smiled slightly before turning sad again, "There's always another wound to discover."

"There's always something more you wish you'd said." Lupin said trying to comfort him. "But you'll just sit tight."

"I'll watch in rewind." Sirius said tapping his head.

"It's only what you're asking for?" Lupin asked in disbelief.

"And I'll be just find with all of this time." Sirius shrugged.

"Is that only what you're waiting for?" Lupin couldn't believe that Sirius was giving up like this.

"Let's get out of the school grounds and into the skyway." Sirius said moving to where they had left their brooms.

You're past the places where you might have turned. Lupin thought sadly

"You never did notice, but you still hide away all of your anger of your angel who won't return." Lupin said as they picked up their brooms.

Lupin looked at Sirius. Sirius looked somehow deflated.

"I am everything you want, I am every thing you need." Lupin said quietly. "I'm everything inside of you that you wish you could be. I say all the right things at exactly the right time but I mean nothing to you and I don't know why." He continued sadly.

Sirius left his broom sitting there. And went over to Lupin.

"You mean that's why you…" Sirius asked trailing off. "Stupid." Sirius said before snogging Lupin.
