Enter Stone who comes across Hennings who seems to be intensely examining a wall.
Stone: Oi! Rookie! What the fuck are you doing?
No response
Stone: (walks closer) Hey! I asked you what you're doing!
Hennings looks up slowly
Hennings: Oh hi! (stares)
Stone waits for reply
Stone: yaa… hi…
More silence
Stone: Whatever. When you're done, come up stairs. We have plans to discuss for the mission
Stone exits. Hennings slowly looks back at wall.
Hennings: (slowed speech) Wait… what mission?
Scene change to base top.
Sergeant: Alright men! Listen up! Come tomorrow we're going to be moving out. Now Levi!
Levi: (sounding bored) sir?
Sergeant: I want you to take that position where you sneak in and grab stuff (turns to Stone) Stone! I want you to follow him around and act as lookout! I'll be on the outside, watching. Waiting for you two dimwits to get caught! Then I'll jump in and save the day!
Stone scoffs. Sergeant ignores him. Hennings pokes his head up.
Hennings: Sergeant! Sergeant! What about me? What do I get to do?
Sergeant: (awkwardly) ummm… uhhh… well you can… stay here! And..uh… guard the base! It's probably the most important job of them all! Isn't it Stone?
Stone: ("wakes up") what? Oh.. ya! Totally! Without someone guarding the base we would.. y'know... We would get robbed!
Levi: (sarcasticly)Oh ya. Robbed. Cus we definitely don't want those rocks over there to get stolen. (gestures at rocks)
Hennings: (excited) Really? I'm so happy! I am going to go practice! (runs off and is seen in distance "practicing")
The others turn back to conversation
Stone: So anyways. What we're going to take is ammo and food right?
Levi: What if they've started heavily guarding everything because of last time?
Sergeant: huh… well I guess we'll just have to wing it then. Aaand BREAK!
Levi: wait… what? That's your "plan"? That's not a plan! We can at least go up and check out the town with the sniper rifle before we risk our lives
Sergeant: What? That's a ridiculous plan! I have a much better Idea! What if! We took the sniper rifle up to the mountain… and checked out the town before we put our lives in danger! It's perfect!
Levi: That's it. I'm leaving. (exits towards Hennings)
Sergeant: Stone! Get me my sniper!
Stone: Why? Get it yourself!
Sergeant: (grumbling as he walks away) A bunch a' useless good for nothing…
Scene changes to Hennings and Levi. Levi is attempting to have a conversation. Mistake.
Levi: All I'm saying is that it would be nice if we had an extra hand y'know? Are you even listening to me?
Hennings: (pretending) Yes! Yes! Umm.. something about an extra hand! Yes! I think it would be cool to have a third hand! Then you could use one to eat sandwiches, one to color, and one to wave at people with! It would be amazing.
Levi: (annoyed) What? No! hhhhh I mean an extra person! Y'know, to help out!
Hennings: oooo. I love helping. There was this one time I got to help the fireman! There was this kitten! And then…
Levi: Shut up Rookie! Hhhh. I don't even know why I'm bothering… (looks up at mountain where Sergeant and Stone appear to be arguing) What are they doing now? (mumbled)
Scene change to Stone and Sergeant
Stone: I just wanna look!
Sergeant: No way! (Looks through scope) Oh no… this could be a problem…
Stone: What? What could be a problem? Serge! Just let me look! C'mon!
Sergeant: Stone… (serious business) get the others.
