Disclaimer: I don't own anything but Fallon

Time Period: About 500 years after Annabeth's death

"It's time to choose your weapon, Fallon," said Chiron to the new demigod.

Fallon bit her lips. She had been waiting to choose her weapon since she has seen the camp, but the daughter of Athena was still very nervous.

She entered the shed. There was everything from medieval swords to modern shotguns. Fallon checked out everything, but finally deciding on either a sword or knife.

She tried the swords, but most was too heavy and long. The knives were too light or too short for her liking. Fallon was starting to lose hope for finding a weapon.

"Don't worry," Chiron said, "You can craft your own sword." Fallon wasn't listening; she wanted a weapon from the shed. A weapon that had been used by demigods before her.

A flash of bronze caught her eyes. It was in the farthest corners of the shed and hidden by a several quivers of arrows. Fallon moved the quivers and found a gleaming bronze knife.

The knife was shining bronze even after being in the shed for so long. It was long enough to be used easily, but not as long as a sword and hilt fit well in her hand.

The knife was perfect for Fallon.

When Chiron saw the bronze knife in her hand, a flash of pain crossed his face. "I would like this knife," Fallon said. Chiron looked at the knife sadly. "Fallon, are you sure you want that knife? This knife has a tragic history." Fallon nodded, for the knife was perfect for her.

As Fallon and Chiron walked out of the shed, she fingered her new knife's blade wondering what secrets were inside her bronze knife.

Epilouge:

Fallon fought valiantly with her knife for her entire life and became one of the greatest knife fighters in camp. However Fallon never found out about the origin of her knife.

How a young girl had given it to Hal, a son of Apollo. How Luke Castellan received it from Hal and gave to Annabeth Chase along with a promise of family.

How that same blade ended the Second Titan War and destroyed the Titan Lord Kronos himself. How that knife had killed millions of monsters before Fallon and destroyed a giant.

And how Annabeth Chase died fighting with the same bronze knife in her hands.

Fallon never knew the complex history of death, sadness, and war behind her simple bronze knife.

I decided to update this story to fit Demigod Diaries and check a few errors. Thanks for reading
