Author's Note: I just wrote this because it came to my mind. Please bear with me on the fact this story is crap and it's short. There is probably OOCness and grammar errors. If you feel the need, feel free to flame. Though I have a feeling that whoever looks at this will just hit the back button, and frankly, I don't blame them.

Gohan and Videl had come over to the Son's house for a family get together dinner since they hadn't seen his family since Videl and himself got married. They were all in the living room sitting talking and catching up while Chi-Chi was in the kitchen getting the meal ready to eat.
"Dinner's ready."
"Great. I'm starved." Goku said rubbing the back of his head.
"Yeah, me too." Gohan said as they walked into the kitchen.
The whole family was sitting around the table having a nice conversation about Gohan and Videl's new life together and the past battles they have fought in, that is until Gohan and Videl looked at each and gave faces that said ' I think it's time to tell them' and with that Gohan cleared his throat and looked at this mother and father.
"Mom, Dad... Videl and I have something to tell you." Gohan said nervously.
"Well, what is it?" Chi-Chi asked as she set her fork down next to her plate.
"Well...we're..how do I put this?" Gohan rubbed his head trying to find the right words to use.
"We're having a baby!" Videl blurted out.
Everyone just stopped and stared. It was like if time had stopped itself. Just then Chi-Chi spoke up.
"A baby?" Chi-Chi almost said in a whisper. And with that she got up and walked away from the table.
"Dad, is she going to be alright?" Gohan asked.
"I don't know. She's never done that before. Usually she starts yelling or something." Goku said as he picked up another chicken leg.
"Wow, congradulations brother!" Goten said with a smile.
"Thanks."
They sat around the table eating some more and talked about the baby. And the conservation was filled with congradulations from Goku and Goten. As they continued to have small talk they realized Chi-Chi wasn't came back yet. Then out of nowhere they heard yelling from the room Chi-Chi was in.
"THEY'RE HAVING A BABY!!! I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!! THIS IS WONDERFUL!! A GRANDMA!!!" Chi-Chi yelled as she jumped and danced around the room.
Everyone at the table just stared in the direction the yelling was coming from. A few moments later Chi-Chi came out of the room calm, cool, and collective and seated herself at the table.
"Congradulations, you two. Having a baby is a wonderful thing." Chi-Chi said as she began to eat her dinner.
"Um..Mom are you okay?" Goten asked confusedly.
Chi-Chi smiled. "Yes, I'm fine. Why do you ask?"
"Because we all heard you yelling in there about how happy you are about the baby." Goten said quite frankly.
"No, I wasn't."
"We heard you, though." Goten said.
"No, you didn't. Now be quiet or no dessert." Chi-Chi said while she continued to eat her food.
And anyways after that the family finished there dinner and just sat around and chit chatted until it was time for Gohan and Videl to leave. Goku and Chi-Chi walked them to the door and waved goodbye to them as they flew home.
"They're going to make great parents." Chi-Chi said smiling at Goku.
"Yeah, they will." Goku said wrapping his arm around Chi-Chi.
