Aura High

Day 1-6AM to 7AM: A Rough Start to a Rough Day

This is the story of one boy. One boy who has hopes, dreams, and a lust to succeed. This story takes place in the city of Cameron. Cameron was not always a city but it was a highly bestowed kingdom and their protectors were the Aura Knights. Aura is the mystical power that consists of three types. The first type is light aura or Liaura (Li-or-a). Second comes dark aura, Daraura (Da-or-a), or as many call it The Aura of Darkness. Now the third aura is the one aura many have tried to find but have never discovered. This type of aura is only known by 10 mighty Aura Knights of the past present and, as some believe, the future. No one but them knows of The Third Aura and its powers.

Now, let us begin our story with our hero Jake. Jake is actually a foster child adopted by the mayor's family. His mother gave birth to him but she died shortly there after. As for Jake's father he disappeared from civilization and to this day he or his body has not been found. So, this is Jake's first day at Aura High. He and the Lent's, that is his "foster name", child, Rob are getting up and dressed for the new day… or at least they're suppose to be…

"Rob! Jake! Get up or you'll be late for school!" Mrs. Lent called up the stairs.

"Oh, give them a break Martha." Mr. Lent said opening up the Cameron Currier.

"But Joseph, do you want them to be late on their first day at one of the greatest school to practice Aura?"

"Fine, do to them what you like." Mr. Lent said as his wife filed up the steps.

"Now you two better be up."

"We are mom!" the two boys said rushing out of their room.

"Well…I was sadly mistaken," said their mother with a sincere apology, "Now come down and eat breakfast. You have all of your things ready I assume."

"…Yes, Maim." The two replied in a nervous tone.

"Okay, eat your pancakes."

"Thanks mom."

After about 10 minutes Mrs. Lent looked at the clock.

"Oh my, its seven o'clock, the two of you need to get to the bus."

"OK, mom" The two boy's said as they were shoved out the door.

"Do you think it was good to lie to mom about something like not having all the things for school?" Rob asked his step-brother.

"Dude we're in high school and you need to just relax, the things mom wanted us to pack were totally unneeded."

"But…"

"Don't question yourself man. Come on, what's the worst that could happen?"
