Okay! I really hope you like this story because HinaLee is one of my favorite pairings! I really hope I did at least a halfway decent job on this. Okay, enough of my babbling and onto the disclaimer and story!
Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own Naruto.
Lee hobbled down the night-filled street, and took a seat at the closest bench near him, rejected by Sakura once again. The shinobi clad in a green jumpsuit sighed with much disappointment.
The lavender-eyed kunoichi next to him looked at his face. "L-lee-kun? Is s-something wrong?" she asked.
"Oh! Hinata-chan! Sorry, I did not even notice you were there!" Lee said suddenly.
"I-it's alright, Lee-kun, but what is the matter?" Hinata asked in reply.
"Oh, Sakura-chan turned my offer of a date down once again," the fuzzy-eye browed shinobi replied in disappointment.
"I-I sort of know what that is like," the original Hyuuga heir whispered.
"You do?" Lee asked, "But who would turn down a date with you?"
The shy kunoichi's face turned pink. "Well, not exactly t-turned down, because I never really asked him to..." Her soft voice trailed off.
"Shyness got in your way of asking him on a date." Lee finished.
"Well, yes," Hinata replied. Lee looked up at the full moon, which lit the streets of Konoha almost as well as the sun.
For the first time, the shy konoichi looked at him and found herself in great admiration. For the first time, she saw in him great skill, and determination, and found herself growing fond of him.
At the same time, the green shinobi felt he had someone that could relate to him, and understand him. Someone that wouldn't call him bushy-brow, or a teenage mutant ninja turtle, or any other names. A person that would stay with him.
Lee looked back at Hinata, who was staring back at him with the same expression in her eyes; love. Lee couldn't restrain himself-didn't want to restrain himself, and kissed Hinata passionately on the lips, and Hinata kissed back.
. So that's it! It is a one-shot, but I might do a sequel depending on reviews. If I get at least five good reviews, I'll do a sequel, if that's what you'd like! (And constructive critisism is always welcome.) . Hope you enjoyed the story!
