Sapphire felt her face heat up and felt her hand grip her phone tightly. Ruby yelled at her and she didn't know what was happening until she saw her phone fly across the room towards the male. He dodged it and looked at her. For a moment, she thought he was going to turn away, but he stayed in his place. She didn't know what to do, so she stormed off into their bedroom, still angry at him.
She couldn't even remember what they were fighting about as she tossed and turned in bed later on, but she had this small worry that when she woke up, Ruby wouldn't be there anymore.
Sapphire trudged down the hallway and into the kitchen, ready to make herself something to eat when she heard movement in the living room.
"Ruby?"
"Hm?" He yawned and Sapphire let out a sigh of relief. He hadn't left!
"I think we should talk about what happened last night.." She mumbled. Her dad always taught her that you should always try to resolve your problems. If they didn't talk about it now, they'd be yelling about it later.
"Okay, let's talk." Ruby said, putting his hands on his hips as he entered the kitchen. Sapphire looked at him and smiled, seeing the football helmet on his head.
"Stay!" Sapphire laughed, giving Ruby a hug. "I want ya to stay."
"Stay?" Ruby asked, confused. "Of course I'm going to stay! I deserved getting that phone thrown at me."
Sapphire just smiled brightly at him and patted his helmet.
She couldn't imagine her life without the male now. He put up with her stubbornness and made her laugh all the time, even when she was mad. He knew everything that she was scared of and was there to support her and her dreams. Without Ruby, Sapphire wouldn't know where she would be.
"Hm? You okay Saph?" He questioned, looking at her through the mask on the football helmet.
"Nothing, just, I wanna hang out with ya for the rest of my life." She smiled again, with a light pink blush on her cheeks.
"I love you too." Ruby said, trying to lean down for a kiss, but ended up bumping Sapphire's head against the helmet instead. "Oh, sorry."
Based off of Taylor Swift's song, 'Stay Stay Stay' it has to be my favorite Taylor Swift song. It's just cute and funny and happy. Sorry that it's not long, but I'm not very good at writing Ruby or Sapphire, so I just wanted to try out a little something with them.
