Love at first sight

was ranting about the importance of English essays today because some kid thought it would be funny to purposely piss him off. The perfect way to end the week, I just wanted to get out of there, just wanted to go see my best friend Axel and wanted to forget about how 'I before e except after c.'
I looked at the clock 20 minutes until class ended, I was happy yet uneasy. I looked around to find that idiot Sora looking at me again. I pulled my hat tighter on my head pulling on the strings coming down from the sides. I hated when people stared, it scared me, made me believe they were out to get me. I looked away as my pocket vibrated, I pulled out the sleek white iPhone and clicked the button, the screen lit up and I unlocked it. It was a text from Axel. It read 'got detention movie nights going to have to wait :( wait for me?' I typed back a simple 'yep' and relocked it just as a shadow stood over me.
"Mr. Light, I suggest you put the phone away and start working on your English essay or the phone will be mine."
I muttered a yes sir and stuffed my phone in my pocket. Sora was looking at me again, I squirmed and looked at the clock. As soon as I looked the bell rang. I was waiting outside the detention hall, the halls were empty, everyone was gone except those with detention and me.
I closed my locker carefully but was spun around and slammed against it soon after. I winced from the force; I looked into small blue eyes. "Hi Roxas, How's it going?"
I avoided eye contact choosing to look at the floor, "What do you want Sora?"
"Just wondering when I'll get the money you owe." he slammed his hand on the locker forcing me to look at him.
"I don't owe you any money Sora."
He slammed his other hand on the lockers beside my head and leaned in brushing my lips with his. I squirmed and my phone vibrated, I wished I could call for help.
"Come on, tell me why don't you owe me any money, could have fooled me, you're the one breathing my air. I think you owe me som-" Sora was cut off by Axel as he spun Sora around and before he could say anything Axel threw a quick punch to his nose.
Sora yelped, "What the hell! You asshole!" Sora cupped his nose.
"Leave him alone jerk." Sora looked at Axel and then me, in a last pitiful attempt he grabbed my hat and swiftly pulled it off letting it drop to the floor before he ran away.
"Good riddance!" Axel yelled, he bent down and picked up my hat. "Here." he said.
"Thanks...How was detention?" I asked.
"Good, well boring really." He slipped the hat on my head, I winced.
"What's wrong, you ok?" he looked at me worriedly.
"Yeah, I think so." My hand rose to my cheek I pulled it away as it felt warm and sticky.
"Roxas, you're bleeding. Sora must have scratched you. I'll rip his head off later but right now we should patch you up and then movie night."
We were sitting on the couch at my place, my dad was out of town and my older brother was at his friends, so we were all alone. The perfect time for anything, for me to make a move, but I didn't. Axel hit the play button to some movie he had picked.
"What are we watching?" I asked.
"The Ring"
"What?" I all but squeaked.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I don't like scary movies, remember."
"I know." He said smugly.
20 minutes later, I was shaking it didn't help that a face popped up causing me to jump into Axel's lap.
He laughed, "You ok?"
"Not really." I managed to answer. I sat there slowly calming down until the next face popped up, I hid my face in the crook of his neck.
"Alright, that's enough of that." He said turning it off.
"Thank you." I said breathing a sigh of relief.
