Today's beautiful, isn't it?

A soft sigh could be heard from a small woman with pale pink hair and gorgeous green eyes as she stood up from her stool. She looked back at the sloppy painting she had been pushing off for the past couple of weeks, shaking her head.

"If only I didn't agree to this…" She thought and pulled off her dirtied apron. She raised her arms up and stretched; sighing happily as the all familiar pops of her spine cracking. She made past the other many paintings she had made that were placed here and there and walked out of her studio. She walked down the hall and came straight into the kitchen. She smiled.

There was a fresh cup of coffee and a bowl of her favorite cereal on the counter. Thinking exactly who it was for she walked over and picked up the cup. It was her favorite mug, too. The one her son had picked out for her when they went shopping for school supplies. It was a pale blue with an elephant on it.

She brought it to her lips and took a sip. She sighed happily as the warmth of the strong brew went past her throat and down her to her stomach. Her small pointer finger tapped the side of the mug as she looked out of the window above their sink. The skies were blue and had a calm and relaxing feeling as the clouds flowed past lazily.

She turned when she heard the familiar feet pattering on the hard wood floors and making their way to the kitchen. She smiled as three figures walked in.

"Mama!" The older of her two children said. She set her cup down when a pair of arms wrapped themselves around her small waist. She looked down to see her son, Yuki, beaming up at her.

Yuki looked just like her, soft, feminine features with the greenest eyes she's ever seen with light red hair. He had her pale skin and a cute smile.

"Hello, sweetie, how was the park this morning?" She put her hand on top of his head.

"It was fun! One of the boys from school was there and we played tag." He replied and let go of his mother. "Dad said I could invite him over some time to play, if it was okay with you…" He voiced the last part quietly and looked down.

"Of course you can have your friend over, sweetie." His head shot up and he had the biggest grin on his goofy face.

"Thanks, Mama!" He said and bounced off into the next room. A shuffle of feet made her turn to see her husband holding their other son in his strong arms while he walked towards her.

"Hello, Gaara." She said and stood on her tippy toes to plant a soft kiss on the corner of his mouth. He smiled.

"Hey, Sakura." Sakura took their son from his father's arms and kissed him on his forehead. He looked just like his father.

"Hello to you too, Riku," The toddler giggled and snuggled into his mother's embrace. "I finally finished." Sakura said and Gaara raised an eyebrow.

"Does that mean you will not be getting out of bed at the crack of dawn and sleeping in a bit more?" He questioned as he picked up her abandoned mug and took a sip from it. She nodded.

"Yes, I won't have to get up at the crack of dawn anymore; which is nice. Why I agreed to do those paintings, I've no idea." She blew out a sigh and shrugged.

"Well, all that matters is that you're free from painting for a while and more time to keep the bed warm." She laughed lightly and Gaara smirked down at her. "Oh, yes, your personal human heater is now available for your use." He winked and she rolled her eyes.

"Mama, dad! Come look at my drawing!" They turned at the sound of Yuki shouting from the other room. They both looked at each other and Gaara walked after Yuki's shouting voice. Sakura smiled and turned to look up at the sky one last time.

"Today's beautiful isn't it?" Riku giggled and squeezed her shirt. She hummed and walked out of the kitchen to join her happy family.

Fin.
