A/N I do not own: SINGIN' IN THE RAIN by Gene Kelly or iCarly... Thank you. Enjoy this one-shot. I haven't re-done a musical in a while.

Freddie's Singin' in the Rain

"Good night Freddie," said Sam.

"Good night Sam," replied Freddie. "See you tomorrow."

Before he could turn and leave her, the girl grabbed the front of his yellow raincoat and suddenly kissed him on the lips. After pulling away from it, Sam laughed awkwardly and hurried inside her house, closing the door. Freddie stared at the door in complete dismay, slowly backing out of the front garden.

A distant rumble of thunder broke out, and the young man chuckled to himself.

He walked home, with a bit of a bounce in his step. He never thought in a million years that Sam actually would kiss him in that way. A few spots of rain fell from the sky, causing him to put up his umbrella, twirling it around as he held it up.

"I can't believe she kissed me," he said to himself, smiling rather widely. He started humming a familiar tune.

Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo... Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo-doo

Freddie did some dance steps and happily twirled his umbrella around, continuing the soft humming.

Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo-doo... Doo-dloo-doo-doo-doo-doo

The rain started falling a bit more, and the young man laughed at the sight. He danced a little more along the sidewalk and began to sing:

I'm singing in the rain... Just singing in the rain... What a glorious feelin'... I'm happy again

Freddie looked up at the clouds and grinned. There was no way anything could bring him down, not even more rain.

I'm laughing at clouds... So dark up above... The sun's in my heart... And I'm ready for love

"At least Sam is," he chuckled and kept singing.

Let the stormy clouds chase... Everyone from the place... Come on with the rain... I've a smile on my face

He jumped in some puddles and got his pants and shoes all soaking wet. What would his mother say when he got home? But he really didn't care. The young man walked happily down the rainy street and twirled his umbrella, singing as he did so.

I walk down the lane... With a happy refrain... Just singin', Singin' in the rain

Freddie noticed the street sign and ran up to it, jumping and swinging around it, with his umbrella stretched out as he got saturated from the downpour.

Dancin' in the rain... Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah... Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah... I'm happy again!

I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain!

He hopped off the street sign and slowly brought the umbrella above his head, once more sheltering himself from the rain and humming the tune softly.

Freddie looks up to the window and notices Sam has been watching him singing and dancing in the rain this whole time. He drops his umbrella, and smiles at her, blowing her a kiss before softly singing to her.

I'm dancin'... and singin'... in the rain...

Sam waves a little at him then closes her window. Freddie skips slowly down the street, whistling that same tune while twirling his umbrella in his fingers.
