The question,"Should Kyoko hook up with Ren or Shou?" suggests that both Ren and Shou are viable members of the human species. In other words, Kyoko bears the weight of humankind on her very elbow. In my opinion, Kyouko should get together with a beagle. Throughout society and in life, the evidence to support my viewpoint is pervasive.
Consider the case of Bobbylina C., a beagle owner, in Antarctica. "Beagles are brave and intelligent dogs that are good with children," states Bobbylina one day in an interview. Clearly, a "brave and intelligent" companion is better than Shou and Ren who both lack such attributes. Therefore, Kyoko is best fit with a dog of both brainy and gutsy characteristics.
Another example would be, Matilda Mae, a cute beagle, from a book "Matilda Mae The Dog That Needed A Home," written by Sara Mcgaughy in 2011. Matilda Mae is a cute puppy dog who is discriminated against because of her whiskers and tail color. Therefore, she obviously is in need of loving care. Shou and Ren, however, can fend quite well for themselves. Concluding, Kyoko should go with the suitor that needs her most.
Clearly, the above examples show that Kyoko should choose neither Ren nor Shou, but a beagle as her lifelong companion. As Bobbylina C. states that beagles are both courageous and smart unlike Ren and SHou, who lack such positive attributes. Also, Matilda Mae shows that one should choose a companion that needs one most. Kyoko's choice of a life companion is crucial to the understanding of human society. A beagle is her best choice.
