30 Kisses theme #15: perfect blue.

Fuji Syuusuke fucks with his eyes open.

Fuji Yuuta tries.

Part of it is his stubborn insistence on competing with his older brother. But the main reason is that he has no choice. Even after all these years, he still finds himself completely transfixed by those impossibly blue eyes.

Yuuta knows that for most people, seeing those eyes means they've done something they're about to regret. But it's never been like that for him. Even when they were children, Yuuta had always heard his brother described as a mysterious person, and Yuuta knows this is true. Aniki could hide anything behind that damned smile of his. But his eyes always betrayed him. One glance, and Yuuta could tell immediately what Syuusuke was thinking or feeling. It was why he stopped looking his brother in the eye when he began to see emotions that should have never been there. It was why he ran away when he began to feel those same emotions in his own heart.

Even in their darkened bedroom - especially in their darkened bedroom, Syuusuke's face just centimeters from his own, lips moist and parted - Yuuta can plainly read the emotions in those eyes. Love, of course, for his brother has never looked on him without love. But also desire, hunger... even need. A bittersweet, blissful happiness. And a possession that won't let Yuuta look away. Their eyes remain locked and the two are one, their shared gaze joining them just as surely and physically as any other connection between them, until Syuusuke lowers his head and presses his lips to Yuuta's neck, and the younger boy finally gives up the struggle, eyes sliding closed as he presses his head back into the pillow, moaning softly as sensation takes over his body.

Afterwards, sometimes, Yuuta studies his own eyes in the mirror. Gray. Plain. Boring. Even if he leans in close enough to press his nose against the glass, he can't find even a single fleck of color. Which is good, he supposes, since he's heard that means cancer or something. When the mirror is too fogged to see any more, he sighs and stands up straight again, wondering what his brother sees when he looks in his eyes as they lie in bed together.

Syuusuke loves Yuuta's eyes. He loves their clarity. He loves their honesty. He loves the way they catch the light through his camera lens.

He loves the way that every glance tugs on his heart.

And he loves knowing that when he sees a shimmer of blue in his brother's eyes, it's a reflection of his own.
