"I'm down... and I'm out. So leave me on the ground. You were better off without me."

"KAIRI!!!" I screamed, my feet pounding on the pavement, I heard Sora and Roxas calling out her name in the distance. I looked around desperately, air coming in ragged uncertain breaths. My blonde hair was clinging to my sweaty cheeks, my entire body was protesting. Yet still I ran.

"Kairi!" I called again and again, my throat was dry and rough, and I kept moving. And then I saw her, she was looking straight at me. Those beautiful blue eyes, once so deep oceans were jealous, had iced over. She was letting nothing out, and nothing in. She turned and I let out a blood-curdling scream.

"Kairi!!!!" I threw myself after her, ready to follow her into the dark, but Roxas's arms were soon wrapped around me, pulling me back. I hit him, more than once and kept screaming her name. I was hysterical I know, but Roxas held onto me, he soothed me, whispered sweet nothings in my ears, though I knew, he wanted to break down as much as I did.

"Kai...ri...?" Sora whispered, staring into the dark that had consumed her. I wanted to comfort him, to say it was ok, but I knew it wasn't and I was in no state to say so.

"Kai...ri...?" He repeated falling to his knees. He looked so broken, so lost. It wasn't fair,

"KAIRI!!!!!!"
