Song
Author's Note: This is something I just cooked up. The first one who can name all the songs in here gets a prize—the chance the read the next chapter of my Moonlight fic before everyone else! I do not own or claim to own any of the songs used, they belong to their respective owners. Post-Sonata, of course.
"Mick...don't go!" Beth pleaded.
"Come on, you know I have to."
"But you can stay for just a minute longer?" Beth pouted, knowing she was acting childish, but not caring nonetheless. They were standing in Mick's kitchen, Beth leaning against the counter with Mick's arms locking her into a cage. It was Boy's Night Out, but Beth wanted to chain him inside—she didn't want let him go.
Mick's eyes glinted with amusement. He leaned in closer to Beth, knowing she became mesmerized whenever he did so, and began a quiet siege of her lips; his tongue slipping into her mouth and caressing it.
Beth moaned, but pulled away. "It's so not fair when you do that."
"All's fair in love and war," Mick replied, and began a siege of her lips again, which quickly led to Beth deepening his kiss more and more until Mick lifted her onto the counter. Beth spread her legs and wrapped them around Mick's waist, trapping him in a cage of her own.
After a few more minutes of roaming hands and searching tongues, Mick pulled away again. "I seriously have to go," he said, panting.
Beth rolled her eyes. "Wonder if he knows, he's on my radar," she mumbled to herself.
"Don't be silly. You spin my head right round."
Beth looked rather confused and surprised. "You and pop music?"
"You sound so shocked. I don't love it, but I keep in touch with my music side. Even if music these days sucks."
"Oh come on, it can't be that bad." Beth grinned as a lyric came to her. "Don't stop believin', hold on to the feelin'!" she shouted.
Mick practically cracked up, but Beth didn't let him continue. "Come on, stay with me! I need somebody to love!"
"It's not like all my bags are packed. I'm not ready to go," Mick replied.
"Ok smartie, go to a party. Girls are stancin the crowd...a chick will walk by you wishing you could sex her! " Beth teased.
"You shouldn't pick lyrics that don't apply, you know!"
"Aren't there going to be freshies? I mean, it's Josef."
"Yeah, but you're the only one that I want."
"Hmph." Beth pouted again. "I'll still be lying here; the room's pitch dark. I'll wonder where you are tonight!" At this, she brought her head up, pulling his down, and kissed him so deeply he groaned.
She was most definitely not letting him go tonight...
