Comfort in Your Arms

Harry Potter sat in the backyard of his home watching his oldest daughter Destiny play a game of exploding snap. Looking over at the small table next to him, he couldn't help but smile.
His wife of eight years was sitting and feeding their other daughter, Hope. Harry had always thought Hermione was beautiful but she was most stunning when she was taking care of their children.
Harry got up and walked over to where Hermione was sitting. He leaned over and gave her a soft kiss on her lips, Taking Hope in his arms he sat down next to Hermione. As they watched Destiny play Harry mind drifted and was soon engulfed with the thought of how different life would have been for him if Voldemort was still around. Harry was lucky though, Thanks to his friends he had managed to kill Voldemort nine years earlier. Now he was free to live his life the way he wanted, and the best part was that Destiny and Hope would never have to know a world with Voldemort in it. They would get to grow without the terror that their parents had to go through in their childhood.
Harry was pulled from his thoughts when Hope reached up and pulled his glasses from his face. Laughing he looked down but due to his now missing glasses all. His saw was a small blur. Taking his glasses from her Chubby little fingers, he smiled down at her.
"Now Hope, why would you take Daddy's glasses? If you do that then I can't see your beautiful mother." With that he leaned over and gave Hermione a full and passionate kiss on the lips. As if on cue Hope blew a raspberry and Destiny gave a look of disgust and said "eww" As they pulled apart Harry and Hermione looked each other in the eye and smiled at the true innocence that resided in their children.
"Come On Destiny " Hermione said as she stood up and headed to the door it was getting late and it was almost time for the girls to get a bath and go to bed. Harry stood up and carried Hope into the house.
Later on that night when everyone was asleep and dreaming of peaceful things, Across town things were not as peaceful as the should have been at such a late hour. In the dark and damp basement of a very old and dilapidated a man sat in high-back chair. The man was by no means old but there was a sense of power that he held. To an on-looker they might not have thought so, but this man was not someone that one should be on bad terms with. He had a sullen face and for reasons that were his own he was in a state of extreme sadness and had been for many years.
When a man is this sad there tends to be a reason, Seamus Finnigan had a very good reason to be sad. He had lost his one and only love to someone he had considered one of his best friends. Of course it had happened more then ten years before but he had never let Hermione go. Merlin knows he had tried but he couldn't shake her the way her lips had felt on his the way her hair would bounce when she walked. Seamus knew he should let her go she was married now and probably had kids at this point. But he was a man scorned and when you're a man scorned there is only one thing to do...Get revenge!
