AN: First time putting anything on this site. Posting on this site is only a way to motivate myself to write more, at least for now. The first idea I had for this story was to take a Gamer like Han Jee-Han in the Manhwa Comics and place him on our Earth just to see what happens. What should you expect from this fanfic? Angst, drama, school life and a very overpowered OC.

If you're left wondering why I used a M rating for this story, this is because there is a high chance I will be depicting scenes of murder, torture and sex. So, let this be a warning: there might be ("might be" might become "is" later on) a lot of fucked up things in this fanfiction. I will warn in advance when those happen anyway but still…

Also, expect a low level of realism in certain parts: I have to extrapolate and re-imagine a lot of concepts (both social, political and behavioral) to fit the story.

Disclamer: I do not own 'The Gamer' or any concepts designed by the author.

Notes:

Dialogues: "Get to work".

Narration: He starred at her, unmoving.

Thought processes: Is this guy for real?

Chapter 1 - My Wish

I woke up that day with a feeling of numbness in my whole body. I forced open my heavy eyelids: gentle light was flowing over my head from the window. After a few seconds of quiet contemplation, I realized that (for some strange reason) my heart was racing, and my breathing was labored. The moistness of my skin confirmed my train of thoughts:

A nightmare, no. Just a weird dream. The same as every other nights since Friday last week. It always happened in the same place: the corridors of my old high school. I was getting tired of it, literally. I knew that my subconscious was trying to convey a message but couldn't figure it out on my own. Obviously, high school had some bad memories attached, but I had faced worse in my life. So why the insistence?

Exhaling loudly, I wiped a bit of sweat from my soaked forehead.

I silently pestered against my current condition. Those dreams were the reason I was so on edge and tired recently. And this headache! I had the impression that someone has just split my skull open with an ice picker.

Succeeding in getting out of my sheets, I staggered with debatable grace to my desk a few meters away. In the first drawer on the right was my medication for high blood pressure and some strong paracetamol. Two pills were immediately swallowed with lukewarm water. My burning eyes strayed towards the clock on the nightstand.

Damn, already 9:46? I couldn't believe it had gone off again. Well at least I could still catch up on this morning's class later on that day. I thanked the divinity above (or something) that the teacher would be unable to punish anyone for absenteeism when there was that many students in the amphitheater. I started mentally planning my next actions: "get a shower and join the rest of the gang at the club, maybe grab a bite in between?".

I gathered the will to start the day. But no sooner had I taken the first step toward my bathroom that the edges of my vision started blurring, putting a stop to all further action. I felt a chilling sensation crawling up my back and setting my lungs aflame. Unable to move or even think, my vision darkened, and I felt myself falling.

An unfamiliar void encompassed me. I could see nothing around me except a bright floating screen facing me a few meters away. I surprisingly didn't freak out but that might have to do with the fact to I couldn't even feel my body anymore. I was in a daze, as if in a dream. My headache was gone, and I felt at ease.

Returning my attention to the blank screen, I waited for something to happen. After a few seconds of confused staring, text began to appear on the surface.
