Fragment of a memory
Chapter one: The start of a journey
A pink hair male, who is badly injured was standing in the center of what seems to be a destroyed town. Not too far away from the injured pink hair male is a yellow hair male wearing a ripped orange jumpsuit. The male is seen being trapped in a wall that collapsed over him. Close to him is an orange hair male wearing a black robe and is also badly injured on the ground. The pink hair male looked towards the two with a concerned stare. His worriedness is quickly replaced with rage as he looked up to see a dark figure standing on a tall building looking down at him with red eyes.
"Jeez, you really are a sturdy person." Says the male in awe. His voice is deep but with the slight hint of enjoyment before releasing a deep sigh. "Too bad you're going to have to die." He finishes with a serious tone.
The boy growled at the male before getting into a fighting stance. Clenching his hands into fist both of them burst into white hot flames.
"We'll see about that!" He shouted.
The pink hair male quickly launched himself at the red eyed male with his fist arched back. Getting closer the mysterious male figure made no attempt to move as the fist is swung towards his face.
One Year Earlier
It was a nice sunny day in the town of Magnolia. Everyone was enjoying their nice quiet evening. Until out of nowhere a huge crash is heard down the road making the town people stop from what they were doing. After hearing another loud explosion emerge from the same area the people ignored it and went on with their day.
"Seems like they're at it again, " Says a woman working in her garden.
"I wonder who it could be this time." Said a boy as he ran towards a tall building at the end of the street.
Coming to the end of the road the boy looks at the building with amazed eyes.
"FAIRY TAIL!" He shouted happily.
Inside the building, it was crowded with people and a figure sail through the air and into the far end wall with a loud crash.
"Doesn't that idiot ever learn?" Asked a woman. She sounded annoyed as she drunk beer from a huge barrel.
The male beside her started laughing and took a sip of his drink.
"I don't think so. But give him credit. He never knows when to give up." He said with a smile.
As they were talking the sound of metal against the floor echoed in the building and stop in front of the hole.
"Was that all you had to offer natsu?" Asks a girl.
Stepping out of a crowd of people with a huge smile is a red haired woman. She wore a silver custom-made chest plate of armor with a small blue skirt.
Reaching out the wall is an hand as a young male pulled himself out of it. Walking out of the cloud of dust from the wall is a spiky pink hair male with black eyes. He wore a closed long-sleeved shirt with an open collar and a scarf around it. His right arm is exposed to show the symbol of fairy tail.
"Are you kidding? I'm just getting started." He said smiling.
Slamming his fist into a open hand he released a small spark of flames before it encased his hands. The girl smiled at natsu's endurance as a bright light covered her body. As the light cleared she stood there wearing a dark red armor. Her chest plate had dragon-like wings attached to it. She also wore orange gauntlets and dragon claw boots.
Natsu smiled while getting into his fighting stance. "So no more holding back huh erza."
"That would be the best thing to do for your sake." She smiled back. She summoned a long red sword.
They stared each other down and in a split second, they lunged at each other ready to swing. Before they made contact a wall of ice appeared between them.
"What the?!" Stated natsu confused.
"I'm sorry but that's enough." Said an relaxed male voice.
Natsu turns to find the voice only to quickly become annoyed. Who he saw is a boy around his age who had black spiky hair and dark-blue eyes. Natsu face went from annoyed to disgust as he sees the boy is half naked showing off his fairy tail mark on his left bicep. Landing on the ground natsu walked up to the male with a pissed expression.
"Who said you can interfere with my fight gray?!" He asked irritated.
"Maybe i got tired seeing you do the same idiotic thing over and over again!" Gary retorted annoyed.
"Damn you shady eyed punk!" Natsu got into his face.
Gray face twitch and he began to look mad.
"Who you calling shady eyes, flame brain!?" He held natsu shirt.
The two began to bump heads with each other as their elemental energy started to flow out of them.
"That's enough fighting you two." Shouted erza commandly.
Getting close to the two she changed back into her normal armor. The two continued to growl at each other before reluctantly looking away. Just then a girl with long blonde hair and brown eyes ran up to the three smiling with a blue flying cat following after her.
"NATSUUUU!" Cried out the blue cat.
Turning his head to the cry of his name natsu looked over to see both of them rushing towards them. He gave the cat a blank look as he catches him as he rushed in his arms.
"What's wrong happy?" Natsu asked confused of his partners excitement.
"Lucy got us a mission." Happy responded full of joy.
An smile grew on natsu face before turning his head to the blonde haired girl with the same blank expression. Lucy looked at him with an joyful expression as he showed off a piece of paper. Natsu's smile only grew wider as he sees a huge 'S' stamp on it. Turning back towards gray and erza his hand is set ablaze which caught their attention.
"You guys ready for some excitement?" Natsu asked with excitement.
The two smiled at natsu agreeing to his offer.
