Chapter One; POV: Jayfeather
"See you soon Briarlight!", Jayfeather walked outside his den, full moon tonight he thought.
"Hey, Jayfeather!"
"Yes Lionblaze, what can I do for you?"
Lionblaze sat down next to his brother. "I need you to do me a favor."
Jayfeather tipped his head. "Like what?"
"Can you check Cinderheart? She keeps limping when she thinks I don't see her."
"After the gathering, okay?"
"Thanks Jayfeather."
A yowl sounded of the highrock. "All cats chosen to go to the gathering may proceed to the thorn barrier." yowled Firestar. Jayfeather just nodded and walked away with Lionblaze to the exit, but inside he was so excited. I'll get to see Willowshine tonight! he thought as Firestar led them to the island for the gathering.
