Tori awoke with a start. Partly due to her sister, who was screeching her name from down the hallway; also partly due to the loud, continuous banging on the door. Half awake, Tori rubbed her eyes and glanced at her clock: 03:02. Trina continued to yell her sister's name.

"Tooorrriiiiiii!"

The Latina groaned and rolled out of bed. She trudged her way into Trina's room as if the carpet was a river of mud, yawning heavily as she did so. She opened Trina's bedroom door to find her sister still in bed with her magenta sleeping mask on.

"TORI!" She shouted again.

"What is it?" Tori asked groggily, propping herself up against the doorway.

"Someone's at the door!"

"I know! Why can't you get it?"

"Because, Mum and Dad are away and I'm not getting up!"

Tori groaned again. "Ugh! Fine!"

Tori wasn't in any position to argue at this hour with her older sister. She knew the bickering would never end. So, she slowly made her way down the stairs, holding tightly on their hand rail in case she drifted off and fell down the stairs. Maybe if I'm not quick enough they'll go away. She thought. To her dismay, the knocking ceased to stop.

She opened the front door- quickly smoothing down her hair as she realised she probably had bed head- to find her best friend, André Harris at the door.

"Andre?" Tori said in surprise, blinking her eyes open.

"Hi." He said sadly. "I've got a problem. Can I come in?"

André made his way into the Vega's house anyway, without giving Tori a chance to answer.

"Sure." She replied, although she knew there was no point in answering anyway. "What's up?"

André looked long and hard at his friend, before eventually answering. "I have feelings for Jade again."

Tori's jaw dropped in utter shock. She kept opening and closing her mouth for a moment, unable to spit her words out.

"H-h-how? How!? I thought you were over her?"

"Yeah, I know! Me too! But the feelings are back!" He threw his arms up wildly in the air. André was full on freaking out. Tori feared he was going to start hyperventilating.

"Okay, okay, just try to stay calm. Sit down. I'll make you some hot cocoa."

Tori walked into the kitchen area of the lounge and rummaged through the cupboards for the cocoa. She new exactly how to handle this. It wasn't like this was the first time this had happened. The first time André had come to Tori with this issue (which, conveniently, had also been at three in the morning), Tori had advised André to ignore his feelings and tried to show him why Jade wasn't right for him- not that she thought Jade wasn't worthy of André; no, Tori and Jade didn't exactly get on (whatsoever), but in a way, Tori was jealous of her. She was insanely talented, gorgeous, had a perfect boyfriend, but that last point was exactly why André couldn't have her- but when that didn't work André wrote a song dedicated to Jade and performed it in front of her as closure. Of course, Jade was unaware that the song was about her, but nevertheless, André got over her... until right now. Tori figured that since André had feelings for Jade again, it must be fate.

"So ... what do you think I should do?" André asked.

Tori filled a saucepan with milk before answering, "Well... I think you should go for it. This isn't the first time you've felt this way about Jade, so maybe it's just... meant to be. You're obviously in love with her."

"I know I am! But I can't tell her!" He exclaimed.

"Why not?"

"Because... she used to date Beck."

"Yeah, used to."

"But imagine how hurt Beck would be if I asked Jade out. I can't do that to a friend."

Sitting down besides him, Tori placed her hand on Andrés' shoulder. "André, Beck chose to brake up with Jade. Things between those two are totally over, and it was his call."

"You really think I should tell Jade I have feelings for her?"

Tori smiled at her best friend. "Go for it."

Hovering over André, Tori carefully gave André his mug of hot cocoa so as to not spill any of the contents on her pink, satin pyjamas. André took the burning mug with both his hands. "Thanks."

Tori took a sip of her own hot cocoa. She knew it was going to be a looooonnng night. "So," Tori began, before taking another sip of her beverage. "How did these feelings emerge again?"

"I don't know. It wasn't like before, when I heard her sing, when it was just the two of us. This time, I was just hanging by my locker with Cat, when I saw Jade and... the next thing I knew I was madly in love with her again."

"When was this?"

"About three days ago. I tried to just ignore it but, it felt like with every moment I was with Jade, the feelings only grew."

After, the pair careered off the topic of Jade and just sat, drinking their hot cocoa, and talked about other things. Even though they were both exhausted, it took them about two hours until they both drifted off (probably due to the caffeine).

A while later, Tori once again awoke from her slumber. Still slouched on the red, plush sofa, she turned her head to see the clock above the kitchen cabinets. 05:45. Ugh! Will this night ever end?

Just then she noticed the snores coming from André. She though he looked so peaceful, and smiled. Then she frowned. Deep down inside of her, she knew that Jade still had feelings for Beck. She was worried André was going to get his heart broken if he told Jade how he felt; but if she told André now, it would crush him.
