The One with the Foxes Mask
Chapter One
"Ojichan! Ojichan! Can you train me today?" It was nine in the morning and the orange blur of energy that had rushed into the room did not seem fazed by how early it was. Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage of Konoha tiredly rubbed the bridge of his nose. "No Naruto… I can't, I'm too busy," "But you're too busy all the time Ji-Ji! When will you have time for me!" yelled Naruto waving his arms around for extra effect. "Maybe tomorrow Naruto, maybe tomorrow…" Naruto sighed and dragged his feet behind him as he walked out. Hiruzen watched him leave, that boy, it's almost impossible to tell that he isn't the normal eight year old running around seeking attention.
Hiruzen walked into his office, he immediately noticed two invisible people sticking to the wall, their attempts at remaining unseen had not turned out well because their armor had been dyed a very bright orange. The two people appeared on the ground and fazed into reality, they saluted the Hokage and were about to go back up when the noticed the Sarutobi's questioning look. "Sir?" "Would you care to explain," he responded gesturing to their armor, "Someone broke into ANBU headquarters and while we were doing laundry they poured some orange dye in, currently we have people trying to get the dye out sir," "Might you have any idea on who did this?" he said, while the ANBU rubbed the back of their heads in unison. "Uh, yeah we are currently in pursuit of-", "JI-JI! JI-JI!" "HELP THEY'RE COMING AFTER ME!" Naruto Uzumaki, the one and only, streaked into the office and ran for the Hokage's legs. Wrapping his body around them. Then as suddenly as Naruto had appeared, four ANBU clad in orange armor ran in behind him. Noticing the Hokage they immediately froze and saluted. "Could someone kindly explain to me what is happening?" the Hokage said glaring at everyone that stood in front of him. One of the four ANBU that had just entered was about to speak before NARUTO cut him off, "I went into the building where the creepy ninja stay last night, I put the dye in because they always seem so boring and bland, I see them all the time just hanging around on top of buildings and just everywhere!" He said, spitting out the words as fast as he could. The Hokage was surprised, "You said last night? Meaning you escaped my ANBU for more than twelve hours?" The ANBU all wilted, embarrassed that they had lost an eight year old with no ninja training at all so many times, there were no excuses for it. "You also said you saw my ANBU everywhere, what do you mean by that Naruto?" Naruto looked thoughtful for a second, "I- Uh, I don't see them all the time, it's weird, it's like I can feel them… Is that not normal…" he said nervously glancing at the people surrounding him. "No Naruto that's better than normal…" the Hokage said scratching his chin while staring out the window.
