Robin POV

I don't know when it happened but I fell in love with artemis. It wasn't one of those where it was like love at first sight it slowly progress. The only problem was her and kid flash were in love so I was stuck with being her best friend but that was okay cause I could deal with that. I was patrolling Gotham with my friend bluejay no one knew his identify but that was fine. When he suddenly said

"Why don't you tell artemis how you feel about her?"

"What are you talking about?" I asked taking by surprise.

"I am not stupid robin I know how you feel about artemis." bluejay said.

"Even if I did like her, her and kid flash are dating." I said bitterly.

"Robin we all have to take chances sometimes it is part of life, we might make mistakes but we learn from them." bluejay said wisely.

"Your right bluejay, I will tell her tomorrow but for right now let's get back on patrol." I said.

The next day

I walk up to artemis "Artemis I need to tell you something."

"What is it robin." she said.

"Artemis I like you a lot and I don't care what happens after what I am about to do." I said and then I lean in and kiss her and right at that moment wally came in.

"What the hell is going on." wally said.

Artemis jumped away from robin "Wally this is not what it look like robin kissed me."

"Yey right like my best friend would do that to me" wally said.

"I did kiss her wally, I am sorry." robin said.

Wally hit robin in the eye and said "I don't want to see you anywhere near her anymore and you are not my best friend anymore." Then he and artemis left the mountain.

1 hour later

Bluejay enter the mountain it was abounded except for the sobs of a sixteen year old robin. Bluejay walkup to him and asked "What happened robin."

"Thanks to your take risk advice I lost both of my best friends." He said.

"I am really sorry robin is there anything I can do." bluejay said.

"Yay you can go ahead and die." said a mysteries voice then a bomb dropped in front of them.

"Oh crap." They both shouted. Then an explosion happened and everything went black.
