Okay so first things first HAPPY AKUROKU DAY! So freaking happy I didn't miss it. Almost missed Zemyx day and I was like BLARGH! But I'm getting this done on time this time! I REFUSE to miss Akuroku day! This is like my freaking favorite day becuz so many people like to write lovely little fanfics for the pair and they are like my fav pairing! I adore them :3 So lets get this party started!
My inspiration is coming from a lovely little song by Boys like Girls because I've been hooked on them lately. I'll let you know the song at the end.

Roxas was panting as he ran down the street. He wasn't being chased. He was just trying to get away. Get away from there. He had only ever dreamed of the day he would escape from that life. Now that dream was coming true for him.
He couldn't possibly be more happy right now.
The cool air of the night felt good against his face. He wore his black hoodie, slightly baggy jeans, converse and a backpack which had a bundle of money in it, dried foods and spare clothes. Nothing could stop him now.
Or so he thought...
As he was looking over his shoulder to make sure he wasn't being followed by anything he crashed into something.
He soon found out that the something was a person. And that person just so happened to be his best friend, Axel.
Roxas looked at the red head with a shocked and confused face. "Axel? What are you doing out this late?" He asked. Axel chuckled. "I could ask you the same thing." Axel said as he got up. He held his hand out for Roxas. He took the hand greatfully and was pulled onto his feet. Axel noticed the backpack and frowned. "So?" Roxas asked as he brushed himself off. "I was taking a late night stroll. And I can see you were putting your escape plan into action." Axel said sadly. Roxas bit his lip.
"Yeah..." He said, looking anywhere but at Axel. "Good for you. Well I guess this is goodbye." Axel said. The red head didn't want a long goodbye. He didn't even want to be there anymore. He just wanted to go home at that point. So he started to walk away.
Roxas started to panic. "Axel wait!" He said. The red head looked over his shoulder. "... Come with me." Roxas said. Axel turned fully. "And leave my whole life behind? You're the one that hates their family Rox, not me." Axel said. Roxas' expression turned sad and his head dropped. Axel smiled and slowly walked over to Roxas. He wrapped his arms around him in a big hug. When Roxas looked up Axel kissed him. He could feel Roxas tense then slowly relax and kiss him back.
The kiss soon ended and Axel smiled at the blonde. "Of course I'll go with you." He said. Roxas' eyes widened then he smiled back at Axel. He then hugged his friend back and said a quiet thank you. Neither of their familys saw them again after that.
They made their Great Escape...
Pft I think that last sentence was so stupid but I'm so leaving that. So if you couldn't guess by now the song is The Great Escape. thats what inspired this. No spell checks because my brother wants to go to bed and I wanna get this up now! So see ya!
