It has been 17 years since the tragic 11th day of September 2001 has happened, and so I would like to create a fanfiction about it and this is my first Alvin and the Chipmunks fanfiction. Rest in peace to those who lost their lives. We will never forget.

...

Monday, September 10, 2001.

3:02pm.

...

Alvin and his brothers; Simon and Theodore, were in the airport while visiting the city of New York as a vacation this week after all their performance back in Los Angeles as their father Dave have trusted them to look after themselves, and especially to Alvin to not cause any trouble like he would always do.

"Oh boy! New York City!" Alvin said happily as he spotted the city in view.

"Oh, I can't wait for our vacation there!" Theodore cheered.

"It's a good thing Dave has given us lots of allowance to buy for ourselves, and something important rather than just skateboards." Simon replied.

"Oh come on, they're awesome rather than boring taxes you talked about." Alvin whined.

"Oh grow up Alvin." Simon rolled his eyes. "That's the reason why you keep failing Econ class."

"Whoa, this place is amazing." Theodore said in was while staring at the liberty statue from out the window.

"It certainly is, especially the twin towers of this city." Simon pointed at the two tall towers which are the World Trade Center of New York.

"Man, they look awesome." Alvin smiled in interest.

"And..., tall." Theodore gazed.

"Yep. I heard that they were first opened since the year of 1973. Which is 28 years ago." Simon replied.

"Wow, that's how long they existed?" The red clad chipmunk said.

"Not only that but they're also invincible even on what happen in February 1993." Simon said.

"What happen that time?" Theodore asked.

"There was a car bomb that exploded and unfortunately has killed six people." The smart chipmunk explained.

"Oh, gosh!" Theodore gasped in shock.

"Yeah, but it wasn't powerful enough to destroy the towers." Simon nodded. "There is a memorial service of the 1993 bombing victims."

"Are those towers really invincible Simon?" The green clad chipmunk asked.

"I'm quite positive." Simon said.

"Why does this tower on the right has an antenna?" Alvin asked while pointing.

"That happens to be the North Tower, Alvin." Simon answered.

"Really?" Alvin replied. "So I guess the other without the antenna is-"

"The South Tower." Theodore finished Alvin's sentence.

"Yep. It has an observation on the deck." Simon said. "And the North Tower has a restaurant called 'Windows of the world'. Plus, I think we can afford a hotel that is in between the World Trade Centers."

"Oh really?! Well I can't wait to explore these twin towers!" Alvin runs off.

"Alvin, wait-," Simon shouted before his older brother ran off. The blue clad sighed. "What else can get worse?"

"OMG! It's Alvin and The Chipmunks!"

"The chipmunks? Oh my gosh!"

"I gotta have their autographs!"

The fangirls all screamed and cheered then chased after the chipmunks as they ran towards the taxi.

"This is gonna be a long week." Simon sighed.

The chipmunks later on arrived at the Marriott hotel by the taxi before the trio brothers took out their luggage and all stared at the hotel with amazement while they walked in. "Man, is this gonna be awesome if what?" Alvin smiled as they were walking by busy people in the hotel.

"If only Dave was with us, it would be more awesome." Theodore said.

"Theo come on. Dave finally trust us to look after ourselves since we're old enough." Alvin respond.

"And to take responsibility!" Simon corrected him.

"Yeah yeah, that." Alvin said pretending to care.

"You guys sit there while I go get our rooms checked." Simon said before he went to rent them a room. Theodore was eating his Life Savers gummy snacks he's been saving while Alvin was sitting on the chair looking around. Until then his eyes caught something...or someone.

"Whoa...," He said while blushing a bit. There was a female chipmunk who seems to be around Alvin's age. She happens to be a chipette. She has orange hair and was wearing pink skirt, blue jeans and magenta shoes. She was talking on her iPhone. Alvin can't help but let out a smile. "Oh gosh..., who is that girl?"

Suddenly, the girl tripped on the rug and dropped her phone. Alvin raced over and picked up the phone while the girl looked up at him. "Uh..., is this your phone?"

The chipette nodded before Alvin hands her her iPhone. "Thanks." She smiled. Alvin nodded and smiled as well. They both stared at each other while blushing. But then Simon called him. "Alvin? Alvin?!"

"Wha-what?" Alvin turned around.

"Come on, I just rented us a hotel room." Simon said.

"Oh sweet!" Alvin smiled before he runs off just before the girl was about to tell him something. She was blushing as she seemed to admire him. "Who is that boy? He...he seems really sweet."

"Brittany?!" Called a female's voice.

The pink clad chippette turned around and saw her two sisters getting ready. "I rented us a room. Now let's go." The short chipette replied.

"Oh okay Elenor, coming!" Brittany said before she gave along with her sisters. She was now thinking of Alvin as she felt like she wanted to see him again so that they could hang out. "Oh, grow up Brittany. You're just living in your dreams." she thought sadly before she sighed.

7:51pm.

Meanwhile, Alvin and his brothers are walking in the elevator and took the fourth floor of the hotel then they went down the hallway looking for their room.

"So where is our room?! I wanna see!" Theodore said with excitement.

"There it is." Simon said pointing at Room: 169. Simon then unlocks the door with the room key and opens it. The brothers stepped in and looked around the beautiful paradise room with amazement.

"Wow, this place is awesome! We should have rented a room on our own a long time!" Alvin said with ecstasy.

"These beds are so big." Theodore ran to one of the beds and jumped up and down on it.

Simon lays on the bed as well and relaxed. "Oh yeah, it's very nice. Way to pay a price."

"I'll video chat Dave and show him out room!" Theodore said.

"You do that and tell him that I'll be out exploring the towers. Simon, you got a spare key?" Alvin said.

"Here. Hope you don't knock yourself in any trouble." The blue clad chipmunk tosses the key to him.

"Thanks bro. See ya!" Alvin walked out of the hotel room.

Alvin by himself was walking through the hallways and explored around the Marriott hotel. He explored the nice view of the gym and took a picture of the Hudson swimming pool with his iPhone. The red clad then walked outside of the hotel and turned to stare at both of the World Trade centers. "Wow." He smiled in amusement before he took a picture of the twin towers with his iPhone. "Wait until those guys at school see this." He whispered to himself.

Alvin then walked back in the hotel while he felt his stomach growling. "Man am I hungry. If only Theodore didn't eat all my Cheese crackers!" He then noticed a snack machine by the corner and decided to buy a snack. The young chipmunk placed the dollar in the door and pressed the pad ordering the chocolate Oreo cookies. He links it up and began to eat them while continuing his stroll. But soon, he was bumped by the same chipette who he met at the lobby earlier.

"Hey! Why don't you watch where you're go-," she then stopped when she noticed Alvin.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you." Alvin apologized.

"No, it's okay. I'm sorry." The chipette said.

They soon stared at each other while butterflies form in their stomach until Alvin breaks the silence. "So..., what's your name?" He asked.

"Um, Brittany. Brittany Miller." The girl answered.

"What a pretty name." Alvin smiled. "My name's Alvin Seville."

"Alvin? What a nice name." Brittany smiled.

"Thanks." Alvin said happily.

"So..., what school do you go to?" Alvin asked.

"Why do you ask me? We just met." Brittany replied.

"I just...wanted to know." Alvin said while hiding his blush.

"Well I go to West Eastman high school at Los Angeles." Brittany answered.

"Whoa, really?!" Alvin gasped in surprise. "I go to that school too."

"Whoa, you attend there too?" Brittany said also surprised.

"Yep." Alvin nodded. "So, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, me and my sisters are visiting this hotel and I was just on my way to explore the World Trade Centers." Brittany answered.

"Really? So am I. My brothers and I are visiting this place for a vacation." Alvin said.

"Well, do you want to come along?" The pink clad chipette asked.

"Oh boy do I?!" Alvin smiled in delight. "And are you sure we're allowed to visit the twin towers?"

"Of course. Everyone there is always welcomed." Brittany nodded.

Soon both Alvin and Brittany went out the hotel and decided to visit the North Tower first as they entered the lobby which seemed huge and beautifying impressive.

"Wow, this lobby is glorious." Brittany said with amazement.

"Tell me about it." The red clad chipmunk nodded in agreement. The two explore around while they were taking pictures with their phones. Later on they decided to visit the South tower and they enter the lobby where many country flags of the world are being held.

"Oh my gosh. Look at all those flags." Brittany smiled while taking a picture of them.

"Yep. My brother Simon has told me earlier that this tower has an observation deck." Alvin said.

"Really?" Brittany asked.

"Yep, and not only that but the North Tower has a restaurant called 'Windows of the World'."

"Wow, I bet it would be amazing if we explore the whole tower. Maybe both of them!" Brittany beamed.

"Me too. Right now it's...," Alvin checked his watch. The sun is was beginning to set, meaning that this day has come to an end. "It's now 8:37pm. We better get back to the hotel. How about we explore them both tomorrow?" He asked his female counterpart.

"Certainly. I look forward to seeing doing it." Brittany nodded.

They then walked back to the hotel and took the elevator where Brittany and her sisters' hotel room is next door to Alvin and his brothers'. "It was nice meeting you today Alvin." Brittany smiled.

"Yeah, me too." Alvin said.

Brittany smiled and have the chipmunk a kiss on the cheek which made Alvin blush.

"See you tomorrow." Brittany giggled before she enter her hotel room where her sisters are.

"Does...does she like me?" Alvin said as his smile got wider. "Oh this is the best day ever! I gotta tell my brothers about this." He then walked into his hotel room as the night went on for him.
