Author's Note: Just a little thing to get the blood flowing to the creative parts of my brain. XD Enjoy and Happy Halloween!

She felt her lungs expanding and tightening, air barely making it through her windpipe. The shadows were closing in on her, light being strangled into nothingness. Footsteps echoed loudly from behind, slow and menacing. She had no energy left to fight, nothing left in her arsenal to use that wasn't tried yet.

She was going to die, but still held onto the hope that she would somehow make it.

"Tsrub erif." She moved her lips, feeling the last bit of her energy trickle out of her like water from a faucet. She could only smell a faint hint of smoke behind her before her legs gave out.

Zatanna greeted the floor, face first as if in homage. The footsteps behind her grew louder and louder. Zatanna struggled to stand up, her knees still wobbly and strained under the pressure. She turned to face the horror that awaited her...

An executioner mask concealed his face, only the color of his eyes were shown. His muscles gleamed in the weak lights, remnants of a shirt still clung to his skin, ripped apart and charred. In his hands was a woodcutter's axe, splattered with blood on it.

"So." He began. "The little witch meets her end at the hands of her once faithful servant. Ironic."

Zatanna glowered at the man before her as he laughed.

He sneered. "Any last words?"

She knew it was stupid to say, but Zatanna was down to her last options. "You can't kill me...I'M A VIRGIN!"

He raised the axe...

"Okay, great job SB. You too, Z!"

Conner smirked at the voice over the speakers. Zatanna shared the grin with him. Both looked at each other for a few moments before their lips quivered and eventually broke down in laughter. Robin's voice came in through the speakers again, his giggles joining in the fun.

"'You can't kill me, I'm a virgin'?" Artemis walked down the hallway with a small camera in hand. "Who wrote the script?!"

Zatanna only managed to compose herself long enough for one word to come out of her mouth. "Wally."

"Typical." Artemis rolled her eyes. "At least Rocket made sure we didn't have any zombies in the film. Too cliche."

"You okay, Conner?" Robin's voice broke through again.

"Yeah." Conner nodded. "Do we have to do another take? I lost my favorite shirt in the last one."

"Sorry." Zatanna shrugged sheepishly. "Had to make it realistic without hurting you."

Conner lifted the girl up, supporting her weight onto him.

"Think we got enough footage for the film?" Artemis directed her question to the nearest speaker.

"Pretty sure of it. We need to thank RT for letting us use the hallways for our movie."

"Great." Zatanna sighed with relief. "I definitely need to recharge my batteries after this."

Robin chuckled over the speakers. "Just don't get too comfortable with my cousin, Miss M might not like you getting cozy with the big guy."

Author's Notes: Not the best one I wrote, especially for a Humorverse story, but its for Halloween and I needed to prove I was alive somehow. The horrible line that came from Z's mouth was based off this suggestion I made to a friend when we made our own little horror/parody. Hope you liked it!

Happy Halloween!
