AN. I'm a little surprised that no one's done this yet. Or maybe they have and I just couldn't find it. Still, couldn't pass up the opportunity.

From Bad to Worse
Rose wasn't sure how it happened. She wasn't even sure who or what had caused it. All she knew was that she couldn't breath.
She was laughing too hard.
The Doctor was less than amused for once. "I can't believe she let the in here. The best shielding in the galaxy and she forgets the close the door."
Rose had to wipe her tears and swallow a few more giggles that threatened to escape before she could answer. "She was in a bit of a rush."
"She let them shoot up the whole place!" the Doctor's voice was almost squeaky with incredulity. "And I just fixed it. Humans!"
Rose's chest was starting to hurt with repressed laughter. She'd be surprised if she got out of this with all her ribs intact. "Will the TARDIS be able to fix it?"
"Well, she will….eventually. But with all the repairs it'll probably be the last thing to get mended." He slammed the lever down and the familiar crash sent them both to the floor. Rose heard his voice come from around the base of the consol. "We just had to land in a construction site."
"Well, it could be worse," Rose choked out. "We could have been stuck with a porta-pottie interior too."
The Doctor's face appeared from around the side of the consol. He was still less than amused.
Rose gave up and dissolved into giggles again.
