"We love each other mom & dad!"

Josh was driving the car usually fast with tears in his eyes.

"Dude slow down!" Drake yelled.

When Josh didn't listen Drake looked at him with concerned, hurt eyes. He also had tears but refused to let them fall.

"It doesn't matter what they think."

"I know...But their our parents Drake." Josh said softly. "I... We just need to get far away from here."

"They will get over it one day then we'll be a family again...You'll see." Drake assured. "But the important thing now is that we have each other."

Josh looked over at him & smiled. "Your right. Your all I need. I love you."

Drake smiled back. "I love you too."

Drake looked to the front, his smile faded, replaced with a horror expression.

"Josh look out!" Drake shouted.

Headlights shone on them. When Josh turned around it was to late.

"We love each other mom & dad!" Josh said happily with his arm around Drake.

At first they looked shocked, then they started laughing. Causing Drake & Josh to frown.

"What's so funny?"

"Of course you two love each other, your brothers!" Audrey said.

"Step brothers!" Drake corrected.

"& that's not what we meant. We love each other! Really love each other!" Josh said.

Audrey & Walter's eyes went wide, their jaws dropped. They looked at each other then back at Drake & Josh.

"How long?" Audrey asked sadly.

"We been together for 3 years... Since we were 16." Josh answered softly.

They even looked more surprised. They hadn't known about this for 3 years.

"After all this time...Why now? Why are you telling us now?" Audrey asked.

"Because we're tired of hiding are love & happiness from you." Josh answered.

"& we're married." Drake added quietly.

That's when they lost it.

"Married!? How could you get married!?" Walter asked in a angry voice.

"W-well...we-we knew you guys would try to stop us...S-so we got married late last night." Josh answered nervously.

"But how? Your brothers. Thats incest & its illegal." Audrey asked.

"We're only step brothers, no blood relation...so the guy said if we really love each then we could get married...So we did." Josh answered.

"But its not ok!" Walter said angrily. "Do you know what you two just did to this family!?"

When neither one said anything he said. "You put shame in this family! You sinned this family! YOU TWO ARE A SIN!"

That made Drake's blood boil. "SHUT UP!" He yelled.

Audrey, Walter, & Josh looked at him with surprise at his sudden outburst.

"Ok just shutup! You guys should be happy for us because we make each other happy, but you just think we caused shame on our family!"

Drake paused, grabbed Josh's hand, & went to the front door. He turned around to look at them one last time. "Well don't worry the shame is leaving & never coming back!"

& with that they were gone, out the door before Audrey or Walter could say anything.

Josh felt pain throughout his body, it felt like he's been hit by a truck. He opened his eyes slowly to see his parents looking down at him with tears in their eyes. He looked at himself, he had cuts & bruises everywhere.

"Wh-what hap-pened?"

"You & Drake were in a car crash!" Audrey cried.

"Drake?" Josh cried.

He remembered what happened. He sat up quickly ignoring the the pain. "Drake? Where's Drake?...Is he ok?" He asked with fear,& concern.

Audrey cried harder. Josh looked at his dad.

"I'm sorry son...But..." Walter paused to calm his crying. "But Drake didn't make it."

That broke Josh. He shook his head repeatedly, tears burned as they poured from his eyes.

"No. No. No." He quietly, painfully repeated over & over.

Walter hugged him & so did Audrey.

Josh's step brother, his best friend, his husband, his whole world was gone.
