Misty Mountains
Peeks through misty clouds above,
Caverns down below.
A boundary of rock and root,
Of wind and rain and snow.
...
Over Middle-earth they stand,
Shelter both foul and fair.
Travellers both praise and curse,
The crisp, thin mountain air.
...
A sight that is majestic,
As they reach up to moon and sun.
An unbroken chain of Eriador,
The mountains stand as one.
