Amoloi was walking down the street back to her house. It was dark out and she just got back from a party her friend held. She was having a blast. Her crush actually asked her to dance. But, as all good things do, the party had come to an end.
A shadow passed over her. What was that? She thought. Amoloi started running in fear. The shadow played over her head. Talons grabbed her arm and took her away. She kept her eyes closed tightly. Her long, soft, shiny, black hair hurt as it whipped at her skin. Finally she felt her feet touch solid ground again. She looked up at her kidnapper. It was a dragon.
What's a dragon doing here? What does it want with me? She thought.
She looked around her and a castle loomed in front of her. She didn't know where she was or what she was supposed to do. She needed to find some one to help her. All of a sudden the dragon took off as people stepped out behind bushes, trees and other hiding places.
"Wait! You have to take me back!" Amoloi yelled. She heard something like a snort coming from the dragon. She leaned up against a tree wondering how this could happen to her. The best night of her life turned out to be the worst. What was she going to do?
"What are you doing here?" a boy asked.
She looked up paying attention to their existence for the first time.
"I don't know. I was just walking home from a party my friend was having when that dragon took me." She said like the word dragon left a bad taste in her mouth.
"Why would it bring you here?"
"How am I supposed to know? I just was enjoying life when it had to ruin everything."
Amoloi stood up and turned to the forest behind her. She started to go in when some one grabbed her wrist. It was a blond haired boy.
"What?" she said frustrated.
"That's the Forbidden Forest. It's dangerous to go in there. Or are you seeking your death?" his voice dropped to a whisper that only she could hear. "If you are seeking your death I know people who can kill you."
"No. The dragon brought me from that direction so I figured it was my best bet to find my way home."
"Why don't you stay here until we can figure out what is going on?" said an old man with a long beard. "My name is Albus Dumbldore. Welcome to Hogwarts." He held out his hand.
"Qeun Resoma." Amoloi replied not wanting to give out her real name.
"Well, where is she going to stay?" asked the boy who spoke to her first. He had an unusual scar on his forehead.
"I guess we can try the sorting hat. She may be a witch that no one knows about." Dumbldore said.
Reluctantly she followed everyone into the castle.
Oh, Lord. What have I gotten myself into? She asked herself.
