AN: I'm not one to usually write drabbles, but I decided to enter a contest for one of the groups I'm in on deviantart called DBZ-Fanfiction. The drabble had to be under 600 words and written on the prompt "Past, Present, Future" and dealing with at least one of the words. I decided to try to do something with all three of them because I love an intake from this pairings future more than their past. I love how their relationship seems to grow the older they get. I always figured I couldn't write without expanding on words to much, but I'm not to disappointed in this right here.

I don't own DBZ or GT. xP

Made Right

Vegeta's eyes were glued to the full length mirror that hung on their closet door, though it was not himself he was staring at. Bulma was standing in front of it – a wide smile gracing her face. She was caressing her fingers over her stomach, as if she expected something to be there.

"Well Vegeta?"

His eyes left the image of her in the mirror and down to the small plastic strip in his hands. He didn't even know what it was when she had first handed it to him. It was finally dawning on the Saiyan Prince that there was a significance in the object after all.

When did it come down to this? He was actually sitting here with her as she waited for the results.

The first time this happened he wasn't sitting in this kind of position. Instead he was off training and blaming her for the new inconvenience of their lives.

In the past this kind of thing only happened from their lust and only driven on mindless instincts.

This time the results came from finally being aware that he could do this the rest of his life – that she was the rest of his life.

"I don't know how to read this damn thing woman." He grunted, but his voice was soft as he held it out to her.

Her hands were on her hips and she frowned down at him before she snatched the strip away. Her features instantly changed as her face lit up.

'At least she got the results she was looking for.' He looked away from her – far too unsure of how to react to the way she was smiling at him. Before he knew it her arms were thrown around his neck as she was pressed against him.

What was it about her that had changed the reactions so much over the past eighteen years? It took a long time, but did she finally have him tamed to be at the mercy of a family – his family?

"Maybe it'll be a girl this time!"

He had never seen her look so happy before. Their time spent had obviously changed her as well. Forget the fact she had turned into a chain smoking addict… to each other they had changed for the better, right?

Vegeta could feel his face heat up as he looked away from her and tried to pull her arms from around his neck in the gentlest way he could.

"Are you mad…?" She asked as she pulled away. A sudden worried look had etched across her face as she searched his eyes for an answer.

He smirked and chuckled, shaking his head for the answer. "Since Trunks is such a mama's boy then maybe this time we'll have one that'll choose me as the favorite this time?"

Bulma laughed at the statement. Thing had gotten far enough that Vegeta would even try to be the best parent now?

This time it was going to be made right though. This time they had an idea for what was to come and it was going to be with effort. Despite the way Vegeta may play it off, Bulma knew that he was it was his form of asking for forgiveness and making things right for their future together.
