Asuka.
I never paid enough attention to Asuka.
My entire mind was on Unit-02.
And now, I can concentrate on my beloved daughter.
I hope she isn't still mad at me for ignoring her.
No one but Asuka cares about me.
The only person besides the doctor and my husband who comes to see us is that little girl.
I think she just wants to tease Asuka.
So Asuka must eat her dinner so the girl won't laugh at her. But Asuka doesn't worry.
My Asuka.
Asuka listens to everything I say. The doctors ignore me.
I don't know why I'm in a hospital.
I'm sure it has something to do with Unit-02.
Evangelion Unit-02. My other child. Who I paid more attention to. And Asuka doesn't hate me for it! My darling Asuka!
The last thing I remember about Unit-02 is being pulled out by those kindly technicians.
I always liked how Unit-02 was red. Red is a nice color. Asuka likes red, too. Her hair is red. Such a pretty color.
Asuka and I like the same things. She'll do what I ask, as well. The doctors won't do anything I ask them to.
I don't like those doctors. One of them stares my husband. They're close, I've observed.
He doesn't need me. He doesn't care about Asuka, either. He doesn't want us. In fact, he's never loved me!
Asuka darling doesn't need her Papa either. Asuka has me to look after her. Forever and always, I will look after my Asuka, my sweet baby.
But my husband, he doesn't need either of us. He has those awful doctors to take care of him. And those doctors don't care about me or Asuka.
Nobody needs us but eachother.
So let's die together because Papa doesn't need us, Asuka! Come to heaven with me!
We're only a bother to your Papa, Asuka. He doesn't want us.
But you don't want to die with me? It's the only way we can be together for all of eternity. And you don't want to bother Papa, do you Asuka?
I'll help you die, Asuka. Then we can go to heaven and Papa won't be bothered by us anymore.
Don't worry, Asuka! It won't hurt for more than a second! And I'll be with you almost the whole time.
Just wait for me when you get to heaven, okay Asuka? Then we'll spend the rest of time happy and we won't annoy Papa any longer.
