1. Chapter 1

I was staring at my hands and biting my lip. I had been training for this moment for most of the last year, but I still couldn't keep from shaking a little. The car I was in pulled to a stop, the hum turning off as my mom turned the keys.

"Well, we're here," she said. I finally looked up at her. She was giving me a small reassuring smile. "You're done so much to get here. I bet they'll end up begging you to come. Either that or they'll have me to set them straight."

"I heard All Might is one of your new coworkers. Are you gonna set him straight too?" I asked with a smirk. My mom lifted her shoulders.

"I think he needs it just as much as they do," she hummed. I smiled at her. "Now, enough stalling. Straighten your tie and show them what Sato Ayumi is made of." I straightened my tie and grinned at her.

"Thanks, mom," I chirped. She ruffled my hair.

"Now get out there!" I stumbled out of the car. I stood up straight and took a deep breath in. I took one last glance to mom, who was giving me a big thumbs up. I waved, and she got out of the car to head to her post to judge the initiations. I looked back up at the sign for the school and started my trek towards the front door of the UA.
