Noteri Otsutsuki

Noteri Otsutsuki was an Otsutsuki scribe who worked under Toneri. His hobbies are often reading and collecting scrolls and books. One day, he came upon an ancient scroll while browsing the Otsutsuki archives which explained the Shinobi villages. He became so engrossed by it that he went to Earth and interacted with the Konoha nin, and Suna nin.
Noteri was sent by Toneri to go on an expedition to the West and capture several nobles and ninjas there. Noteri captured some of them and delivered them to the Otsutsuki planet of New HagoHamura so that Toneri will recruit them to his side but to his surprise, Toneri imprisoned them and used his controlling orb on them.
Noteri asked his Mentor why would he subjugate instead of inviting them to join the Assassins but Toneri just simply told him that these nobles need to be humbled and they must steal those riches so that they could give to the poor.
Toneri went on an expedition to the West and found the warmongering organizations vying for control over its advanced technologies. He attacked a research laboratory and found various schematics as well as scrolls of vast jutsus. He ordered Noteri to make the puppets found in one such schematic and use a jutsu that can make the puppets adapt to any jutsu.
Toneri tested the puppets by having them attack a civilian village southeast of the lab. The village didn't put up much of a fight as it was nearly defenseless. All that's left are the women and children and also men too injured to be a threat. Noteri told his mentor to let those people go. But to his horror, Toneri ordered the other Assassins to seize the captives and have them transferred to HagoHamura for re-education.
Needless to say, Noteri's stand on the Creed was questionable. When Toneri announced to use the Tenseigan on the moon fifteen years later, Noteri was the first and only Assassin to protest against it. He was stripped of his rank and made only a Genin.
Toneri announced his intention to use the Tenseigan to destroy Earth so that they could no longer misuse chakra for their own selfish ends. Noteri thought that was wrong and spoke against Toneri.
"We will have teams set up bases on the moon and begin our search for the Byakugan Princess. There we will begin our goal to fulfill Hamura's legacy."
"No! Don't do this! This is not what Hamura meant in his legacy and Will!"
"You have a problem Noteri?"
"No. I mean yes! What you're doing isn't right. What about the innocent villagers who don't use chakra?!"
"It does not matter. All of these lesser beings will bow to the master race that is the Otsutsuki clan."
"The Creed exists for a reason Toneri! It is meant to place limits on us! Especially on us!"
"I am making my own Creed Noteri. My word is law and I say now: we will purify Earth of it's corruption that is 'Shinobi'."
"Hamura-sama would never condone the taking of innocent lives Toneri."
"Enough! Leave us now! You are no longer welcome at the Otsutsuki clan."
After Noteri was disinherited by Toneri, he decided that the Mentor is going too far and committed the unthinkable: He went to the labs of HagoHamura and stole the virus that can counter the Otsutsuki as well as the schematics. With the help of his childhood sweetheart named Alexandria, as well as some of his friends he made while in the Creed. He escaped to Earth, but none of his friends survive and Alexandria was captured and transferred on the moon for re-education.
Noteri made it to Earth via landing pod and found a Templar ship docked on a port. He made it there, told the Templars on board that he is an Otsutsuki and wished to speak with the Grand Master.
The Templars were cautious that an Otsutsuki wished to speak with the Grand Master, they were going to arrest him and bring him for interrogation but the Otsutsuki deserter revealed a scroll which was clearly authentic as well as blueprints for the puppets. The Templars agreed to let them see the Grand Master but only under heavy guard.
The Templar ship made it to Uzushiogakure and Noteri set off to find the Grand Master. While under heavy watch, the Grand Master, revealed to be Naruto Uzumaki asked him why did the Otsutsuki come here.
"I hear from my spies that you came to us willingly. Why?"
"Because I have important news that I know that you would want to hear."
"Alright then, you have my full attention."
"Sir, my former Mentor named Toneri is using a device named the Tenseigan to destroy Earth and mold it under their influence. Millions will die, both innocent and guilty alike."
"So you decided to come to us. Why?"
"Because I want to do the right thing for once and stand up to that tyrant Toneri. And you Templars have the power and will to stop him."
"So we stop this man from destroying Earth. What of the Byakugan Princess?'
"I-I don't know. I know for certain that she has the Byakugan. From what I eavesdrop on Toneri's meetings, this Byakugan Princess is of Otsutsuki descent from Hamura's side."
"Interesting. Whoever this Byakugan Princess is, we must find her and have her on our side. Do you know who she is?"
"I managed to hack into the Otsutsuki databanks and realized that her name is Hinata Hyuuga, a Konoha nin."
"I recognize that name. She is one of my friends during my time in Konoha. Although I do not know her well, I do know that she likes to blush and faint whenever I'm around. If Toneri gets to her first..."
"Yes. She is instrumental to the peace you are attempting to make. However you may need my help sir."
"And why should I trust you?"
"Because I have the schematics and the virus for the Otsutsuki. Take them, as a gesture of goodwill."
With that, Noteri gave Naruto the schematics for the puppets as well the Saturnite virus. Naruto extended the invitation to join the Order. Which he accepted.
Noteri worked really hard to get the Templars to trust him. Some critics believe that he will put his selfish needs above the Order first but he proved them wrong and gained the trust of several important figures like Naruto and Akari and also Itachi.
Akari Uzumaki

"I know what you're thinking about, it is about the life of Shinobi. And whatever you're thinking of regarding it, it's probably worse."
Akari Uzumaki is Naruto's sister and slightly older than Naruto by two years. The two liked to play with one another and Naruto admitted to his favorite servant/ daughter that he missed the times when he would play with her sister.
Sadly all good things come to an end. Clan politics separated the two but the last straw is when Minato Namikaze named Menma Uzumaki, younger brother to Naruto, as heir to the Uzumaki clan and officially disinherited Naruto as an Uzumaki. Akari wanted no part of clan business but chose not to abandon her family thanks to their family's motto. She tried to comfort Naruto but Minato ordered the female Uzumaki to cease contact or be disowned. She did just that.
Fifteen years later, the West was invaded by a warlord named Kawaki. Their base of operations in the West named Whirlpool was the last target. They allied themselves with the Otsutsuki clan with Akari as ambassador in order to combat this new threat.
Kawaki's forces proved too strong as base after base was lost until their headquarters is left. Akari, Menma and Hagoromo (alternate timeline) and also the other Uzumakis fought the leader. But to their surprise, the leader is nothing more than Naruto Uzumaki, working for Kawaki.
Your closest relative can be your bitterest foe.
Menma attacked his older brother with a vengeance, because his brother took his fiancé. The two managed to subdue Naruto and attempted to remove his Ninshu's Fingers which have three of the Six Paths Orbs. But in an act of weakness, when Menma found out through his fiancés tenant that his fiancé had been killed by his brother to get the third orb, he lashed against the hypnotized Uzumaki traitor but it proved futile as Naruto recovered quickly from the hypnotizing and struck back immediately. Hagoromo tried to attack Naruto but the traitor Uzumaki easily dispelled any jutsus he have and knocked him out.
Akari tried her hand against her brother. Thanks to her kenjutsu training, she managed to make her brother bleed by the cheek. However Naruto fought back and impaled her with her own sword.
"You fought well my dear sister. You have my respect as a fellow swordsman. I hope they honor you in the afterlife."
Naruto was ready to strike his sister down with his Ninshu's Fingers when Hagoromo intervened. He offered the Time Orb in exchange for Akari's life. Naruto agreed then left via portal before an enraged Menma could get his shot at him.
The remaining Templars consisting of Kaguya, the tenant, Hagoromo and Akari and Menma reported back to Minato and Kushina. Their scouts have also reported that a massive attack force is outside Whirlpool's gates.
With the Otsutsuki clan by their side as well as defenses of Uzushiogakure, the two clans held out well against Kawaki but not forever, Kawaki eventually succeeded in breaking through Uzu's defenses and entered the palace proper with his lieutenant Naruto.
Kawaki proved to be an impossible challenge as he fought Minato and the other Uzumakis and Otsutsukis. He killed nearly all of the Otsutsukis and forced the Uzumaki family to retreat. The Uzumakis made their last stand in their palace and gave Kawaki a good fight. Kushina and Minato died fighting Kawaki but Menma wounded him by stabbing him on the chest before dying from his wounds.
Sadahiko Uzumaki mortally wounded Kawaki but the warlord crippled the Uzumaki grandfather by slashing his legs, crippling him for life.
Kawaki was ready to end Akari's life when he was betrayed by Naruto. Naruto pierced him using his own sword and killed him.
Naruto took control of Kawaki's forces then offered all of the survivors to join his side as a Templar or die. They have no choice but to agree.
Akari begged her brother to take her with him because she has no one left besides her grandfather. Naruto agreed but warned her that earning his forgiveness will not be easy.
"This is your one and only chance my sister. If you break it..."
"I know my brother. I swear as an Uzumaki that I will stay by your side and earn your forgiveness. Even if it costs me my life."
"Fine. You and grandfather are going with me to the Elemental Countries."
Akari became Naruto's second. She will take his place as Grand Master someday...
Saya Shinka
Rank: Secret Apprentice (though mostly servant/daughter to Naruto)

"I am Onii-sama's right hand. I provide everything for him, be it a weapon, a glass of tea, or simply someone to talk to."
Saya is the thirty-first daughter of the Shinka clan. The Shinka clan were a part of the Uchiha clan in Konoha before the Uchiha Massacre at the hands of Itachi Uchiha. They had a falling out with Fugaku Uchiha and left.
They decided to settle in an archipelago near where Uzu was located in the Elemental Countries. When Naruto circumnavigated the Elemental Countries when he was under Kawaki's command, his ships crashed on the archipelago. Her father named Maris Shinka welcomed the Templars and told Naruto of a group of Akatsuki forces set up camp on the west side of the archipelago. Naruto attacked and destroyed them but a species of undead known as the Black Walkers attacked the Akatsuki, Templars and the native Shinkas settled there and captured them. They took their prisoners to a cave just south of the landing site.
Naruto was on the same cell with Maris' daughter Saya as she explained the Black Walkers.
"What in the name of Kami is that?"
"I do not know exactly but Otou-sama said that these Black Walkers descended from the old world as those who were dissatisfied with the Sage of the Six Paths teachings. They dedicated themselves to some Black King. It is said that they offer human sacrifices to their King."
"Well someone oughta tell them that Uzumakis don't scare easily. Now let's get out this rock."
Naruto used a giant Rasenshuriken to bust the door of their cell as well as kill the guards in front of it. Working together, Naruto and Saya freed their Templar and Shinka brethren.
However at the exit, they found Maris being forcibly dragged to their master which was a cold dead woman that looked like a witch.
"Magistrate! The dead walkers took Maris away from his cell! I tried to stop them but they were far too many for me to take on! They said that he is to be sacrificed to their god!"
"Then we have no time to lose! Maris must be free!"
*The Witch then goes to Maris and stabs him on the abdomen.*
"Otou-sama!" Saya cried.
"Don't despair," the witch said menacingly, "you will join him soon enough."
The Templars and the Shinkas fought through the undead and killed the witch.
"I had a vision," The dying Shinka clan head said. "That you would get my people off this archipelago..."
*The ground begins to shake*
"You don't have much time! Go!"
"But you and your people are coming with us!"
"It'd be too late...I'm already gone..."
"Well, you Shinkas con join us if you want. The journey ahead will not be easy but you're welcome."
"I think I speak for the rest of this clan when I say that we'll join you. We're leaving this archipelago anyway." Saya announced
Naruto, Saya and the Templars and Shinkas went outside and found the god the witch was talking about. The god was very angry at them for interfering with his sacrifice and swore to destroy them.
The group went back to their landing site which is currently being repaired.
"Magistrate! While your were gone, volcanoes emerged from the ground and erupted! This entire archipelago is going to collapse!"
"How long until the ships are repaired?"
"The repairs are nearly done Magistrate."
"Very well. Tighten our defenses. We'll be expecting company soon."
The Templars defended their site while Saya used her Mangekyou Sharingan, now attained by the death of her father to teleport to the outlying villages and bring them to the crash site. Overall, six thousand Shinkas, including the women and children were teleported into the crash site.
The god sent everything he had against the base, but eventually, the repairs were finished and everyone, Templar and Shinka, hurried onboard the ships with Naruto and Saya being the last to make sure everyone was onboard.
With that finished, Naruto comforted the Shinka girl, Saya, for the death of her father and took it upon himself to raise her like he did. She kept calling him Onii-sama as sign of their bond together. (Naruto tried to convince the girl not to call him that but he gave up after a week.)
Naruto's expedition returned to the West after circumnavigating the Elemental Countries and returned to his family. Naruto pleaded with his master not to involve Saya on Templar matters, saying she was too young, even for a teenager to be involved in 'grown up stuff'.
Kawaki agreed but ordered Naruto to have Saya study in their archives so that she can learn and train in their facilities. This, Naruto can live with.
Saya studied and trained under the Templar Order of the Western Rite and became Naruto's surrogate daughter. She continue to study while he went out gathering the Six Paths Orbs and when he finished his objective, he spent some time with her and got to know her. Their bond grew while Kawaki was invading the other Otsutsuki strongholds and Saya eventually became his daughter for life. Doing anything and everything he asked for her.
When Kawaki died by Naruto's hands during Whirlpool's invasion, she stood alongside him as his supporter and she witnessed his coronation and conversion of the Uzumakis to the Order.
Now seventeen years old, though two more years where added as a result of the alternate timeline, Saya accompanies Naruto to the Elemental Countries.
Itachi Uchiha

"Kami has given us abilities and talents...how we use them defines who we are...the how and the why surrounding their use defines our purpose in life."
Once upon a time, during the Kazekage retrieval mission. Itachi and Kisame found a masked person and sensed that he was very powerful. They offered him to join the ranks of the Akatsuki but the man refused. The man took off his mask and revealed himself to be Naruto Uzumaki.
Kisame tried to attack him with Samehada but Naruto used his Ninshu's Fingers to instantly turn the shark swordsman into dust. Itachi became afraid and tried to use Tsukuyomi on Naruto which worked...briefly...
Itachi tried to stab Naruto in his realm using his sword only for it to break on contact. Itachi tried to use Naruto's past memories against him only for the Grand Master to counter it by using his glove and turned Itachi's technique against him by making the Uchiha relieve the massacre, Shisui's death, and his parents death.
"Enough! You can go on doing this forever. What is it you truly want?"
"The Order needs your skills Itachi."
"And does your Order want with someone like me? You know that I am a missing ninja and part of a criminal organization."
"I have eyes and ears everywhere. As for the Order wants from you, we believe that you have the mentality to do our tasks."
"And why should I be working for your Order?"
"You won't be working for the Templars. But if you do well, the Templars can work for you."
"Prove it."
"Thanks to my spy network, I am aware with what is wrong with your eyes. Overuse of the Mangekyou Sharingan has damaged the optic nerves which can lead to blindness. Eventually that blindness can damage your entire eyesight and eventually it can reach to your brain and damage key parts of it, it can fry the brain and kill you."
"You think you have a cure for that?" Itachi asked, Naruto beamed at the Uchiha for at least considering his offer.
"Our technologies can cure your eye problems. But I want something in exchange."
"My loyalty,"
"You quickly catch on. Yes, the Templar Order wants your loyalty and for you to abandon the Akatsuki."
"You do realize that their leader won't be happy when I will defect the Akatsuki?"
"Let them try. My spies informed me of who your leaders are. The orange-haired one with the Rinnegan may be the leader, but it's the one with the mask pulling the strings.
"I thought Jiraiya is the one with a spy network."
"He has one, but not the ONLY one. My agents at least are always dependable. They tell me the one with the mask has the Sharingan."
"Madara Uchiha."
"That's the name he calls himself, but not his actual name. I suspect that he's only taking over his master's work by calling himself that and instilling fear on his enemies."
"About your offer..."
"Yes. What is your decision?"
"I will join your Order, but there is something I want to do first."
"Name it."
"I wish to go to my brother and tell him the truth about the Uchiha Massacre."
"I can take you there."
Naruto snapped his fingers and immediately a small, flexible ship appeared. It's hatch opened and Naruto bid Itachi to go onboard with him, he agreed.
The Shadow Fox, Naruto's ship, driven by Saya traveled to where Itachi was supposed to die. They found Sasuke and Itachi wasted no time beating him up and using Tsukuyomi on him. He explained everything to his little brother. From the Uchiha Massacre, to his role in it, all the way to who gave the order and also the true leader of the Akatsuki being Madara Uchiha. He explained every single thing of what he knew to Sasuke, not holding anything back.
Sasuke was left in shock then became angry and vowed to take revenge on Konoha if he couldn't kill Itachi, then his former village will suffice. Itachi shook his head and changed his objective from having his brother kill him to simply beat the living daylights out of him. Itachi lost faith in his brother that day and left him to his fate.
He left the place, leaving an unconscious Sasuke behind and went to the Shadow Fox.
"Satisfied?"
"It's a start."
Itachi became inducted to the Templar Order and saw that the Shinka clan, Saya included, have the ability to use the Sharingan same as him.
Naruto was true to his word and have the best doctors work on his eyes. They cured Itachi of his blindness and also fixed his eyesight. Itachi was grateful for this and swore to stay in the Order for the rest of his days. He studied in a land known as Caer Darrow under Naruto's orders for two months. He also studied under the Priesthood of Ashura for another month because he was interested in their religion and arts.
Itachi became the first Konoha missing nin to become Master Templar. As a reward, Naruto used his Ninshu's Fingers on Itachi's eyes and gave him the Rinnegan entrusting the Uchiha to use it.
Naruto Uzumaki
Rank: Grand Master of the Shinobi Rite

"I can no longer keep up with my ninja way...that is dead...However, I believe that everyone here must have a standing ovation every once in their lives for we all overcometh the the world."
As per canon timeline, Naruto left the village with Jiraiya for two years. While he was mediating with Jiraiya, something went wrong with the seal and sucked him into an alternate timeline. Jiraiya was shocked and asked the Toads where has he gone. The Toads answered that he was sucked into the West.
During the West, Minato and Kushina found him and immediately they loved him as a son. Naruto was happy to have a family but surprised that he also had a sister and a younger brother. Naruto told his parents about his life in Konoha, surprising them and his siblings too.
Naruto was very happy and enjoyed playing with his siblings. He also got to know his father and mother and enjoyed hearing their stories about how they got together and all.
Sadly, all good things come to an end as clan politics caught up to the siblings. Minato revealed that Akari and Menma also have the Kyuubi (alternate timeline) same as Naruto and must decide the clan heir.
Once upon a time, Naruto managed to defend a certain Hinata Otsutsuki (this Hinata descended from the Otsutsuki clan and hold the spirit of the goddess Kaguya) from a group of ninja bullies who were making fun of her eyes. Something clicked inside of him as he experienced something similar with this scene. He rushed to her aid and beat the bullies up but to his dismay, they reported it to their parents and his parents and twisted the scene to their version, making Naruto the villain. Only Hinata was the one who actually and accurately saw what happened and wanted to speak in his defense if not for her servant pulling her away from him. Kushina believed the bullies and grounded Naruto despite it not being his fault.
Naruto explained what really happened to Menma and Akari and they believed him. They told Kushina and what happened, making her regret grounding him without hearing his side of the story. Although she lifted the grounding and Naruto forgiving her, their relationship was strained.
Naruto went to college along with his siblings along with Hinata. She thanked him for saving her much to the jealousy of Menma. Naruto was failing in his studies thanks to his time in Konoha but Hinata volunteered to be his tutor. Naruto learned quickly under her guidance and it was thanks to her that he graduated the ninja college with grades slightly higher than Menma and on par with Akari. Naruto and Hinata became close...too close for comfort and became lovers. Hinata taught Naruto the meaning of love and what it truly feels like.
It seems that fate was against Naruto's side as Minato announced Menma as clan heir. Even though Naruto proved to be a strong Shinobi, his father pointed out that he was too reckless, careless, and only won fights if he took them seriously and personally. He can't have that for a clan heir. Naruto tried to prove himself more that he was worthy so Minato had him fight his siblings Menma and Akari. He fought well but it as clear that he was holding back so as to not hurt his siblings and as a result he lost because he hesitated to strike his sister. Minato
Because of this, Minato immediately disinherited Naruto and kicked him out of the clan. With nowhere to go, Naruto then had one thing in his mind: to take revenge on the bullies who blamed him to his mother.
"The three of you told your parents about me...you twisted it to your versions...I was grounded and you escaped justice."
"What are you talking about."
"Remember the girl who you bullied? The one you call white eyes?"
"She was too soft and quiet! She's an easy target."
"Precisely. She was too gentle to fight back. And you three bullied her, I stood up to her and beat you in a fair fight."
"You got lucky. There's three against one here."
"I don't need the Tailed Beast inside of me to know that you're afraid. That's what you are, bullies."
"Don't do this. Please it was wrong for us to bully her, it was wrong of us to call you demon."
"My name isn't just demon. My name is Naruto Uzumaki."
Just as Naruto is about to strike the bullies down. A portal appeared and a man with tattoos on his forearms appeared. On his side are three females who are very powerful as well as beautiful.
"Who in Kami's name are you?" Naruto asked but the man didn't respond, only coming closer. "Stay back. Whoever you are, don't try to stop me from killing these men."
The man rolled his eyes to the back of his head for a second then the bullies 'sank' to the ground and died, suffocating.
"I'm not here for them. I'm here for you." The man opened a portal and motioned Naruto to come with him, "Come and see."
Naruto decided to go with the man and was surprised that they went to Konoha. The village was still recovering from Pain's attack.
The man named Kawaki explained to Naruto about what the Shinobi There had done while he's gone. It had barely survived the attack. Naruto saw a woman who looked a lot like the other Hinata in the West. Kawaki then explained to Naruto what his family didn't tell him.
His family were Templars, his brother and sister were Templars. His father was an Assassin turned Templar when he married. Also surprisingly, the Uzumakis were also descended from the Sage of the Six Paths. It is true that the Senju and the Uchiha were descended from the Six Paths on Ashura and Indra's side but the Sage had a daughter who he took care of secretly.
When she became an adult, she studied the use of seals and found them incredibly effective. She gathered up a group of followers to study fuuinjutsu and preserve it.
When she went back to her father, The Sage, he discovered that she has the Rinnegan and thus the first person to do so. She left the Elemental Countries before the villages had been constructed and settled in the West. She learned to survive its battlefields and quickly drawn a large number of followers.
She quickly became the Uzumakis ancestor and it is through her that the Uzumakis study fuuinjutsu today.
Naruto was surprised by this and wanted to know more. The two traveled to Uzushio in the Elemental Countries and saw the ruins. Kawaki explained that the Uzumakis were allies of Konoha but in the Second Shinobi World War, Konoha sold the Uzumakis out to the other Shinobi villages and sent NO help to aid them. Naruto was horrified by this and wished that he didn't believe it but Kawaki used a sort of time device to go back in time and revealed Konoha's treachery against the Uzumakis. Naruto's impression on Konoha instantly dropped to zero.
Naruto told Kawaki of his childhood back in Konoha and his life there from childhood to being Genin up to the training trip. He told Kawaki that he didn't have parents until the West, But they weren't any help either. Kawaki showed him that his parents in the Elemental Countries sacrificed themselves to seal the Kyuubi and protect him from the Tailed Beast.
"Where were you when my life has been a living hell in Konoha?"
"Busy. Preparing my forces to march on the Shinobi forces. I wasn't there for you my son but I am here now. If you allow me, I can show you your true potential."
Kawaki touched Naruto's left eye and applied some chakra in it. He told Naruto that the power that he gave him is a Dojutsu called the Rinnegan. He then guided Naruto's hand to the ground. Naruto placed some chakra on his hand and immediately he felt like he was controlling the weather and the climate.
"The age of Shinobi has come to an end! And through the ashes of the old generation! We will build a better one! We are it's founders and through it we will create better, stronger people with civilized minds! We will change this world and it will be known as the New World!"
With that, Kawaki has secured Naruto's loyalty.
On his first day, Naruto trained under Kawaki, mastering his Rinnegan quickly. He also trained Naruto how to use his own power which are the tattoos on his arms, Naruto absorbed these lessons like a sponge. Naruto immediately volunteered to be part of a genetic mutation that allows one to get a Dojutsu. It was painful but worth it, he gained the Sharingan and Byakugan.
Kawaki named Naruto as his second in command and gave him the rank of Magistrate. Naruto took in a girl named Saya and allowed her to study in Kawaki's headquarters.
Kawaki assigned Naruto an SS-rank mission: collect all the Six Paths Orbs and put them on a gift he gave the Uzumaki during his birthday called the Ninshu's Fingers.
Naruto collected two of the Orbs in a span of three days and two weeks. On the third one he visited Hinata but he found out that she is Menma's fiancé but she didn't like it. Apparently Minato and Hiashi had arranged a marriage for her and Menma who had fallen head over heels for her since college. To unite the Otsutsuki and the Uzumaki, this marriage is important for this unification and alliance. Hinata wasn't pleased but Menma was content. He knew that she and Naruto were in a relationship and to prove that he's better, he would marry Hinata.
During the night, Naruto visited Hinata and spoke to her about his adventures. When Menma came to visit his fiancé, he found his disowned brother but Naruto reacted first and told Hinata to go into a portal he had made. He distracted Menma long enough for him and her to escape through the portal.
Naruto and Hinata Otsutsuki traveled to a land known as the Land of Blood. There Naruto has to make a terrible decision that will haunt him for the rest of his days...
The man named Iscariot told him that to get the Soul Orb, he must sacrifice one that is closest to him...
"Hinata...I..."
"Naruto-kun...do you really want to do this?"
Naruto pulls out a kunai.
"You want to do it.."
"I...I...have to do this..."
"I know...it's just that I never thought it would happen for the both of us..."
Naruto prepares to strike Hinata with the kunai stopped.
"I..I can't! I can't do this!"
"It's okay Naruto-kun...I-I want you to do it..."
"But why?"
"Because I want to die...and who better than you to deliver the final blow..."
"Why do you want to die? You have a very good and happy life! Why?"
"I was never happy. All my life I'm expected to be at my best. I never got the chance to be like a normal human..."
Hinata paused for a second then walked closer to Naruto, so close that their bodies are nearly touching.
"Then I met you, Naruto-kun. You gave me a purpose. I enjoyed our time together, I relished the moments where my teachings have an effect on you. I was good and I was making a difference! Till your father and mine decided to marry me off to your brother, I can't stand this, I refused to be treated like some concubine..."
A sad smile appeared on Hinata's face as she asked, "Do you know what the life of a noble is Naruto-kun?"
He shook his head.
"Reality is lonely." She said as she pulled up her dress revealing a seal. "I-I have a tenant inside of me. The spirit of Kaguya Otsutsuki. I want to be free of this burden I can no longer bear."
Hinata pulled up Naruto's hand holding the kunai.
"Please do it Naruto-kun. No matter what else happens, I will never hate you for this."
"It's just so hard. Having to kill one of your precious people."
"I know Naruto-kun. You would sacrifice yourself so that the rest of us can live."
"I'm just scared, that's all."
"Do it Naruto-kun. Aim for my chest. I won't feel a thing."
"It's not fair! I was so close to know what it's like to love! Why should I suffer this?!"
"It's okay. You can find another woman out there who truly cares about you and her feelings genuine. Please Naruto-kun, end it...kill me..."
"I love you..."
With that, Naruto stabbed Hinata in the chest. He held onto her as life faded away from her being. He cried and held her as she disintegrated to dust. However in her place came the Soul Orb.
Naruto left the Land Of Blood and came to the stronghold of Beth-Zur where his siblings and Hagoromo Otsutsuki as well as Templar forces await.
A large battle ensured...Menma was furious at Naruto for taking his fiancé. Naruto fought well and used his Ninshu's Fingers, much to the shock of everyone present to fight back. Eventually everyone cornered him and trapped him on their jutsus.
"Be quick!" An Otsutsuki member shouted, "He is very strong."
"Yup! I'm the one who came up with this idea Akari, you owe me a bowl of ramen!" Menma said, "Now where is Hinata?"
"He...he mourns..." the Otsutsuki member said.
"He took her to the Land Of Blood," Kaguya said, having manifested after Hinata's death. "He came back with the Soul Orb. She didn't."
Menma looked on the hypnotized Uzumaki for a second.
"Don't give in to your anger Menma!" Akari shouted while she and another Uzumaki tried to pry the glove off from Naruto. "We almost got this thing off!"
"Did you do it?" Menma asked. "You wouldn't...she's one of your precious people!"
When Naruto couldn't respond, Menma shouted, "You wretch! Tell me you didn't do it!"
"I...had...to..." Naruto said with drowsiness and regret in his voice.
"NO YOU DIDN'T!" Menma shouted as he hit Naruto with the handle of his sword.
Unfortunately, this was the wrong move as Naruto quickly recovered and fought back. He stunned Menma and the other unnamed Otsutsuki and Uzumaki members with a mini Tsukuyomi.
Akari attacked her brother using skill and finesse and made him bleed on the cheek. Naruto wasn't mad and countered Akari by breaking her sword and impaling her with it. Naruto was very impressed by his sister and was about to end her life with Ninshu's Fingers when Hagoromo made an offer: spare her life and he will give Naruto the orb. Naruto agreed then left through a portal before Menma could try his hand on him.
Naruto went to Whirlpool where all of the Uzumakis and Otsutsukis assembled to protect the Mind Orb. He blasted his way through them using Ninshu's Fingers. A certain Otsutsuki named Haru used her powers to destroy the Orb and prevent Naruto from reaching it. She was successful in doing so.
Or at least that's what she thought when Naruto used the Time Orb on his glove to turn back time before the explosion and get it. Making all the effort go for nothing. He was about to leave when he felt a familiar sight nearby and realized that it's his father. He tried to stop him but the Yellow Flash was too fast and struck him in the chest. To add more pain, he twisted the kunai into his own son.
"I am disappointed in you my son..."
"You should have gone for the head..." (Guess the reference)
Naruto used his Ninshu's Fingers to knock Minato back and teleported away.
Naruto returned to Kawaki and he told his master that he completed his mission. Kawaki then decided to invade the entire West with his army along with Naruto.
The two watched from their ship, the Gallantry, as their armies destroyed every nation that opposed them. They went to Whirlpool which was heavily defended and attack it.
It took six months for Naruto and Kawaki's army to penetrate Whirlpool's defenses and marched to the palace itself. Naruto and Kawaki went inside the palace.
Naruto found his old teacher Jibihiki and told Kawaki that he will handle it...personally.
Naruto and his old teacher fought, Jibihiki using his wooden staff and sword to fight the Uzumaki traitor. However Jibihiki's old age is starting to get to him and Naruto prevailed using brute force and pierced his teacher using his staff.
"You lost."
"You listen to me...the Uzumakis have twenty-two ships packed with people too weak to ever be a threat to you...families...friends...you let those ships go. You hear me?!"
He snarled at Naruto, "You demon. You're not even human anymore. You betrayed us all! For what!? Because your family ignored you once?! How many people have you killed? How many more have to die? What if Hinata could see you right now?"
Naruto felt enraged and used the powers of the Rinnegan to push the staff stuck on Jibihiki's chest further and crushed his heart and spine. Despite that, Naruto ordered his master to let the said ships go. He agreed.
Naruto and Kawaki entered the throne room where his former family await. Naruto felt weary as he still felt the pain in his chest by his father. Although Naruto didn't want to fight his family anymore, he gave Kawaki his blessing to do it for him. Kawaki gladly took the offer.
The battle was a battle of legends. The Uzumakis gave Kawaki a good fight thanks to their skills and mastery of the blade. Kawaki killed Minato by stabbing him on the stomach. He used his powers to break Kushina's spine. He sliced Menma's throat, but not before Menma stabbed him in the chest before he died. Sadahiko made Kawaki bleed by slashing his shoulders but Kawaki retaliated by cutting his legs, crippling him for life. Akari used her speed to confuse Kawaki and struck him in the back several times before being choked by Kawaki, he tossed her to the throne, knocking her out for the time being and fought the Otsutsuki clan present and exterminated them to the last.
While all this was going on, curiosity plagued Naruto's mind as he used his glove to enter Kawaki's mind and found out his true purpose: he would be cast aside and Kawaki would use his Ninshu's Fingers to take over the West and the Elemental Countries and subjugate them under his rule, killing everyone who he considered not worthy which is a lot. So Naruto patiently waited for the opportunity as Kawaki killed the last Otsutsuki attacker and was about to strike a dazed Akari down.
He walked to Kawaki and stabbed him in the back.
"Why Naruto?"
"I read your mind using the Fingers. Your intentions are less than noble for my taste."
"But I will lead mankind to a new world!"
"Your way is not the way to go. Someone would've toppled you sooner or later."
"Then I will kill half of this world to make sure no one rebels against me!"
"You're starting to sound like a madman, did the lust for blood and your hunger for power fill you?"
"Power controls everything. It is through pain that we can develop, I am the force that will change the world."
"That may well be. But there innocent people that deserve mercy."
"There are no innocents in this war. The Shinobi are the enemy! And they must be struck down by the hand of God!"
"All the more reason to slay you. After all, I am a Shinobi."
"I gave you power that your family deprived you of...and this is how you repay me?"
"If it's of condolence, I can make your death a quick one."
"Fine. I will die here..the only thing that keeps me alive is my goal which means that the Shinobi line will end. I guess I can die knowing that I have killed your family."
"I can live with that, my sister won't."
"Die well Naruto Uzumaki."
"Farewell...my master."
It is done. Naruto had been far more merciful to his master than his master did to his family. With that done, Naruto quickly took control of Kawaki's forces and told them that Kawaki died fighting his family which was half-true. They believe him and he became their leader. As for the survivors, he gave them the choice to either stand by him or die. They agreed. He was unanimously named Grand Master. And he promised to rebuild Uzu and restore Whirlpool and he also promised the survivors that as long as they serve as his personal troops, they'll get a decent pay, a place to live in and to call home. They accepted.
With the new resources Kawaki had, Naruto brought peace to the West through negotiation or by sword. After three years, the West is now at peace.
Naruto decided to set his sights on his home world, the Elemental Countries and took a select few with him: Saya, Akari and Sadahiko with him as they entered the Elemental Countries.
Naruto felt the years getting to him and discovered that he is fifty-two by the time he emerged to the ruins of Uzushiogakure.
The Templars decided to bring in a fraction of Kawaki's army to aid in the reconstruction. It took a year but they restored Uzushio to its former glory. Meanwhile Naruto used his glove to locate the other Jinchuriki, revive them which took a lot of chakra on his part, and recruited them to his cause. It wasn't difficult to convince them as most of them were neglected like he was and their villages didn't lift a finger. The only exception was Gaara, but Naruto considered him a friend and inducted him to the Templar Order.
When Naruto received news of the Fourth Great Ninja War, he decided to participate in it by acting as a mysterious ally against the Akatsuki. He hunted them down one by one with the help of Itachi Uchiha and went it came time to confront Obito Uchiha, the man had the Rinnegan and Sharingan in his possession.
Dealing with him is simple, just use seals so he can't use Kamui against them. Naruto is disgusted by Obito's childish attitude and proceeded to rip out both eyes from him.
"The Rinnegan. The eyes of the Sage of the Six Paths himself. You are unworthy to carry this great gift."
As for Itachi, he fought Madara using his Rinnegan and triumphed against the Uchiha founder.
Things take a turn for the worse as Kaguya Otsutsuki, the same Kaguya from the West emerged and fought Naruto, Itachi as well as Team 7 who just recently arrived at the scene.
Working together, to Naruto's distaste, Team 7 managed to seal Kaguya back into her realm. Naruto and Itachi left the battlefield using the Shadow Fox and returned to Uzu. Leaving the world to rebuild.

This serve as backstory to the characters in The Last Templar. I wanted to connect my fanfics to the canon timeline of Naruto. I'll make stories about the assassins next.
The Hinata in the West is a different type of Hinata. The canon Hinata is still alive.
