Ch. 1 Don't Let the Bookworms Bite
"Maggie" asked Mo, checking from the open door to Maggie's bedroom if she was asleep. He could tell that she was asleep because he couldn't hear the familiar sound of turning pages that he often did when she was up late. "Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bookworms bite" said a voice in the back of his head, he used to tell her this when she was small to make her laugh. Mo missed those days, Maggie was 17 now and he knew that even with her talents that people would consider not normal he knew that soon other boys would enter her life and he would no longer be the only man. The thought of a regular boy and his talented daughter together made him sigh sadly, he only figure this because he had not met a silvertongue Maggie's age and figured that he would never meet one.
