Summary: Sesshomaru has always thought he was to be alone and has accepted that. Rin has always regretted her past and believes she'll be alone forever because of her actions. Now back in town, will meeting up change their perspectives or will they just drown in their misery?
Prologue
~8:00pm Boston, Massachusetts~
"Rin hurry up or we'll miss our flight!" a raven haired girl with grey colored eyes dressed in a green and white coloured spaghetti strap dress and wearing a pair of white flats with her hair curled and put into a simple up-do, yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"Coming!" was the shouted reply.
A few seconds later an ebony haired girl with doe brown eyes dressed in a pair of grey hip-hugger jeans, a white tank top that had a belt going around the waist, and wearing a pair of white wedges came running down the stairs. Her hair, that was left straight to hang down to her waist, was flying behind her in a twirl as she raced down the stairs with her purse to meet up with her sisters at the bottom.
The sisters took one last look around the empty apartment before walking out the front door and saying goodbye forever.
~8:00am Hokkaido, Japan~
"Good Morning students, I have a few announcements to make. First, there will be a faculty meeting today after school,so teachers don't be late, and second, all clubs will meet Friday in the gymnasium. I'll also like to remind and to warn you all that we shall be receiving three new students from the Higurashi family. So please behave, do not embarrass this school. If you do you shall suffer the consequences of your actions. That is all." When the announcements were over the entire student body and staff members cringed at the thought of receiving any kind of punishment from the principle. That woman was a monster in the eyes of the entire school. But they couldn't blame her. After all she just announced people from one of the most respected families in Japan were going to be attending their school.
The Higurashi's were one of the richest family in the whole of Japan coming in third ranking against the Onigumo's and Taisho's. The Taisho family is a clan of the last remaining silver-white haired inu-youkai and said to be the strongest species in the whole youkai population. It is said that when everyone was at war back in the Sengoku Jidai, when a new silver-white haired inu-youkai was bred everyone would work together to kill the expecting mother, for the mothers were vulnerable and couldn't fight back, or end up killing the child once it was born. The Higurashi family is a long line of priests and priestesses that started way back during the Nara Jidai. They are known for their stubbornness and one tracked minds, making them horrible opponents in the office and everyday life. Unlike the Taisho's and Higurashi's, the Onigumo family background only started back in the Sengoku Jidai and, almost nothing is known of them since they've kept almost all their records to themselves. No one knows what they're capable of, or what species they belong to.
With two of the families already enrolled in their school and all the fights and drama that happen around them, they almost didn't want to know what would happen when these three show their faces tomorrow at school. They already had enough drama with just two of the families, they didn't need more. The bell rang throughout the school, announcing that classes have started and anyone not in them and in their seats are late.
One could only wonder what will happen tomorrow.
