I just watched "Lesser Evil" the other day and I think there should be more Victor stuff so here it is

The shot rang through the enclosed room on the boat. It wasn't even that loud but it would echo in the mind of Michael Weston mind for years to come. He stared into the eyes of the man facing him, the man who could have been his friend, the man he had just killed.

The least he could do was maintain eye contact…but even that was harder than he had expected. All he could think of was the unfairness. He could just imagine years ago when Victor enlisted wanting to serve his country, filled with all that patriotic fervor. Michael had been that way…before he realized that it wasn't that simple. In the world of spies it's hard to tell what is real. He probably killed more innocent people than the guilty. He could see in Victor's eyes that it was the same for him. A lot of spies had that jaded look to them.

But with Victor it was different. Despite his life and experiences he managed to have a family. Then he wasn't fighting for his country. He was fighting to get back to them during every mission. Then Carla had them killed and he didn't have a reason to fight any more.

Maybe Victor had done terrible things but Michael meant it when he told Carla "He's what you made him." Because it was true and nothing could change that as Michael watched the light leave his eyes and they got that dead look that he had always hated so much.

Michael thought about the man before him. All he could think was, it shouldn't be this way. He wondered if Victor could see the tears that began to well up…the tears strangely didn't shock him despite the fact that he hadn't cried in years.

He just kept thinking it shouldn't be this way.

It was one of the few upsides to his lifestyle that he didn't have much time to think about things. Because when he did he generally felt the way he did now. He hated everything. His life felt like a waste and he felt like slime for being alive when the man beside him should be too. He was still alive after killing so many people like Victor who probably didn't deserve to die.

His face almost crumpled as he rested his gun against his forehead.

The only thing he had done that was worthwhile was getting back with Sam, and Nate, and Madeline…and Fiona. They were his reason to stay alive…

With that he stood up because he knew what had to be done. He picked up the file on Carla that they had retrieved and put on his sunglasses, the best mask to hide behind. He took one last look at Victor. He had deserved better…but so many did.

And with that he left the boat to talk to the people in charge and take care of what needed to be done.

He hoped that with every person he helped he might atone for his past sins and one day could live a normal life whatever that was…he wasn't sure anymore…because after all, people like Carla made Michael what he is and nothing can change that.

Uum R&R ^_^
