The Hero Falls
Hello I got bored so I decided to make a fanfic. There will me a character death in here. If you don't like death do not read.
Annabeth pov.
There I was fighting for my life and for the world. This was the battle that would decide if Olympus falls or not.
I glanced in his direction and I saw he was outmatched. I sliced a demon in half with my knife and ran to help him.
He was fighting a hellhound when I noticed that a Cyclops had his sword raised and was about to bring it down on Percy.
"Percy!" I yelled, "Look out!" I was too late. He fell to the ground with a sword sticking out of his neck. I screamed and ran to his side. Everybody turned in the direction of the scream and saw that Percy was badly injured. The all ran to his side killing monsters on the way.
He looked at me with his sea green eyes that usually were filled with excitement, but were now dull and lifeless. He gave me a small smile and tears filled my eyes.
"Hey Wise Girl," he whispered.
"Hi Seaweed Brain," I returned my voice horse.
"I've never noticed *gasp* how pretty you were," he said weakly pushing a strand of hair behind my ear. I grabbed his hand and pressed it against my cheek. I heard people around me crying, but I hardly noticed I was too focused on my dyeing love.
"At least I get to see you one more time before I pass," he said.
"Don't talk like that!" I screamed, "You'll be fine, w-we'll get you am-ambrosia an-and n-ectar." Tears were pouring down my cheeks now. He couldn't die! I kept telling myself. I won't let it happen!
"Annabeth you and me both know it's my time," he whispered, "maybe w-we'll meet again some day."
"Not maybe, we w-will meet again someday."
"I l-love you Annabeth," he said
"I love you to Seaweed Brain," I whispered.
"I'll never forget you," he said as his eyes closed forever.
I can't believe it. I had watched him fall, seen him say his last words, take is last breath, and close his eyes forever, but I still don't believe he's dead.
"He can't be dead! He's not dead! He's the hero of Olympus, he can't be dead!" I scream, tears pouring out of my eyes still.
"Annabeth, he's gone," Thalia said.
"No!" I screamed, "He's not dead!"
"Annabeth-"
"No!" I cried, Thalia grabbed my arms and started pulling my away.
"No! Nooooo!" I yelled, "Let me go!"
4 weeks later
I was like that for weeks and I still don't want to believe he's dead. My Seaweed Brain, dead? Just the thought makes me cry.
Did you like it? I'm crying right now, just from writing it!
