A/N: Welp, told ya... Or would you prefer, HAHA I TOLD YOU. Ok, I won't act like an idiot... maybe... this will just introduce you to the character's cause why not?

A small grey truck drove down the streets of a small town late in the night. Dylan smiled out the window, waving to everyone he saw. He was blonde, and had blueish-gray eyes, and was slightly big for his age. He had a scar on his face. His friend Brayden rode in the back, waving every so often.

Brayden was short, but he made up for it with cleverness. He had dirty blonde hair with a pinch of green, and blue eyes. If he gave you a creepy smile, you could see the resemblance between him and his father.

The other teen that was driving, was Ace. He had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and he had a black necklace and a red necklace around his neck. He mumbled something and turned onto an old dirt road.

" Dude! Where are we going?" Brayden asked.

Ace chuckled, " Don't worry, we'll get to our destination, I'm just using an old shortcut."

Dylan seemed okay with it, " As long as you can keep those two contained, I'm down with it."

They could hear a faint, " What's that supposed to mean?!"

Ace laughed, " I think you pissed Carnage off."

" Well, it's not the first time is it?"

Brayden threw a question their way, " Do you think Dad's gonna be mad?"

Dylan's smile faded, " If we stick together, he won't be able to get us. Well, if he doesn't get my dad to help him, we'll be fine."

Ace smirked, " I'm glad I don't have parents, they just get in your way. Isn't that right guys?"

Another sound was heard. It seemed like two tiny people yelled, " Exactly! Fuck Parents!"

" They make a great point." Dylan pointed out.

They rode in silence for a while, assing trees, signs, and houses. Occasionally stopping for a bathroom break or to get something to eat. They even stopped to sightsee. It was their escape, their peace, even if it was cut short.

A noise rang out among them. Brayden picked up his phone and looked at who was calling. " Umm... guys?"

" Yep?"

" What?"

Brayden turned the phone towards them, " It's my dad."

Ace slowly turned towards him, " Don't. Pick. It. Up. Everything. Will. Be. Fine," Ace told him quietly and slowly.

After a while, the call ended and everyone kept quiet. " You think he'll call back?" A tiny voice asked.

Ace spoke, " Carnage! Be quiet."

Nothing. No call's. Not one. " Alright. Well, let's find a way to get to the college or whatever it's called." Dylan said.

" Academy." Ace corrected him.

" What?" Dylan asked him.

Ace grew annoyed, " The call it an academy."

" Whatever. It doesn't matter."

Brayden just sat there staring at his phone. ' Don't call again. Don't call again. Please don't call again.' He thought.

A/N: I hope I did good. The next chapter should be longer... I hope.
