"Yes," Brainy said distractedly. He was busy enjoying the music - a traditional Coluan love ballad from before the machine-tyrant period.

Brainy sighed.
Still hiding her smile, Kara sat down on the couch next to Brainy, slipped an arm around him, and then leaned her head against his shoulder.

Brainy glanced at Kara. One of her fine blond eyebrows was cocked upwards in a way that suggested she was being very, very patient with him. It was one of the things about her that he loved.

Something about the tone of his voice suggest that "some people" also ate babies, had sex with underage robots, and didn't show all of their work on an inter-dimensional calculus exam.
"C'mon, Querl, don't get angry," Kara said as she snuggled a little closer to him. Now she couldn't help but grin.
"I'm not angry," Brainy said seriously. "It's just that binary is obviously the best way to express the language of love,"
Kara cocked her head and looked at him, "And why is that?"
Brainy replied instantly, "Binary is all about two. Two people and their love. Like us."
Kara blinked in surprise. Then she said, "Querl... did you just say something romantic to me?"
Brainy thought that over, "I suppose I did. Do you..."
He never got to finish what he was saying. When Kara wanted a kiss, she got it.
