"Lily, where are you?"
"In the kitchen!"
As she stands in the kitchen door, Natalya can smell all kinds of dishes being cooked, she can see Lily runing around with her short hair tied in a small ponytail, checking the oven to make sure the chicken doesn't over cook.
"What is all this food for?" the Bielorrusian asks.
"Did you forget? The Beilschmidts are coming over tonight" Lily answers as she takes the chicken out of the oven and puts in a plate of cookie dough.
In all honesty Natalya had forgotten that Lily had invited her cousins to dinner, being it a weird ocurrence since the blonde wasn't really that close with her family anymore. It wasn't that they didn't like them but after Gilbert had moved to Canada with his boyfriend, Ludwig had married that Italian kid, Vash and Roderich had gone back to the Austro-Swiss border, Lily had met her and Legolas had been the only one left in Germany, they had drifted apart. But now somehow Lily had managed to contact them all and they were meeting up that same night. Waking from her toughts, Natalya watches the blonde sweep away the sweat on her forhead with the back of her hand while carefully decorating her freshly baked cake, and she (Natalya) feels she's leaving all the work to her girlfriend.
"Let me help you" the platinum blonde says as she steps closer to Lily.
The Swiss girl looks up from her work to smile at her lover "Oh, there's no need to, I'm almost done anyway"
Natalya takes the decorating bag from Lily's hands and kisses her nose "Go take a shower, I can finish this"
Lily kisses her in the mouth while taking of her apron and runs up the stairs to their bedroom.
"Thank you!" She shouts, and Natalya allows herself a smile.
