This just randomly popped into my head and I need to know if I should continue it :)

"It's not like I wanted to do it" Kate Becket told Castle from where she sat on her couch. It had been a difficult case they had just wrapped up and all she wanted to do now was relax with a glass of wine in one hand and the t.v. remote in the other. But just as Kate had settled down, Castle had interrupted with a knock on the door and a barrel of questions for her.

"But it was awesome! The way you tackled the guy to the ground was awesome! Totally amazing!" Castle was getting excited and was on the edge of the seat across from her practically drooling on her carpet.

That's what she loved about Castle though, the way he got over excited about little things. Even if if it was slightly annoying sometimes, she would never say it aloud. She loved watching the way his deep eyes swirled with excitement and the way he fought to keep control with himself. She secretly loved it and would never tell a soul.

"It was what I had to do" She tried to make it sound like no big deal and to her it wasn't. It was just all part of work.

"You're not giving yourself enough credit Kate" The way he said her name made her heart skip a beat. Keep yourself together Kate, she thought to herself, he doesn't like you like that. She had felt their instant connection as soon as she layed her eyes on him. She knew it was going to be hard not to fall for him. She also tried so hard not to let it show, but it was moments like these, between just the two of them, that it was hard not to kiss him senseless.

"Castle please, I'm tired and would like to get some rest." Kate knew if he didn't feel soon that she would lose control.

"Kate...I came here for a reason though" Castle said standing up from his seat. Kate watched his face drop and she couldn't help feeling guilty for his sadness.

"What is it?" She asked softly. She stood up too, not wanting to feel like the awkward one sitting.

"This." He said. With one swift move had was pressed up against Kate and had his lips centimeters from hers. Slowly Kate closed the gap and pushed their lips together in a soft kiss. It was everything and more Kate thought kissing Richard Castle would be like. His lips weren't too rough and fitted nicely with hers. He was patient with her and went slow, he didn't try to thrust his tongue in her mouth like most guys would. Instead he placed his hands on her hips and let her lips take lead.

They pulled away when oxygen became necessary with panting breathes.

"Do you still want me to leave?" He asked breathlessly. She only shook her head. She was far too dazed to construct a sentence.

Sooo should I continue? Or not?
