A/N: Happy Halloween! I have to make this a one-shot because we are going to the library today, and I only had one Halloween fanfic done. :'( So this is a death note one-shot about Halloween. It's yaoi (boyXboy) don't like, don't read. This is set during the time Light and Misa lost their memories of the death note.
Apple cider and Pumpkin pie
Light sat at his chair by L, sipping his apple cider and looking at the screen. L and Light decided to take a break from the kira hunt for Halloween, So there they were, drinking apple cider and eating some pie. Well, L was eating pie. They were watching some classics, having little arguments ("No, the killer must be in the woods!" "No, L, It's obvious he's in the basement.") but the talking soon died down after a few cups of the cider. Now they were laughing at every scene of Final Destination.
L looked over at Light just in time to notice Light looking over at him. They stared at each other for awhile, then L blushed. He had to admit, he had a huge crush on Light, but he never said it, for fear of him being Kira. Light felt the same, except, for fear of L dying. He always feared his family dying, he never knew why he felt that way toward L. He shook those thoughts out as he looked back at L, suddenly, they laughed.
"Hey, are you excited for Christmas?"
Light looked at L, "Well, Yah! Who wouldn't be excited for Christmas?"
"Yes, but we got to go through November, first." L pouted.
Light chuckled, "You're so cute."
As he said that, he covered his mouth, realizing what he had said. L looked over to light, blushing.
"D-did you just say I was cute?"
Light blushed in embarrassment. L noticed the awkward silence, chuckling. He leaned over and laid a quick kiss on Light's soft lips. The auburn-haired man stared at the one he loved and stammered.
"W-what?"
L smiled shyly, "I love you, Light."
"I love you too." Then pink lips met pale lips, tan hands met pale hands as they made-out.
When they finally broke the kiss, They notice the weird since of a presence. They looked behind them, to see Misa and Lights father, Soichiro Yagami in the room.
"No fair! How come you get to have Light?!" Misa said, annoyed.
"Well, um... I-I'm just going to go..." Soichiro turned and walked out.
Misa stayed there, mad.
"Well..." L broke the silence, holding up a piece of Pumpkin pie and a cup of cider, "You want some?"
