I watched her in the rain, she looked so sad but at ease at the same time
I could have went over to the little miko and ask her why she was our in the rain I also could have left her there but my feet disobeyed me so all I could was stay were I was and watched her.
Kagome POV
It was beautiful and infuriating at the same time. As I looked out into the rain while letting two words slip my lips "why Inuyasha" even though I knew deep in my heart he would always go over to her. My friends and family tried to comfort me and act like nothing didn't even happen but they saw it to. I ignored them knowing the truth I still thought one day he would love me not at a "sister" or "shard detector" but as a lover.
Sesshomaru POV
When curiosity got the best of me I walked over to her and called to her "miko" no answer "miko" still no answer "Kagome" she turned my way. At first I didn't want to look at her eyes thinking I might drown in them, but I finally looked down at her she looked at me then turned away not caring who called her name she looked back out at the rain, and started talking not caring who was listening

Sesshomaru POV
She looked like a fallen angel that's lost her way from above. I felt if I touched her she would fall and spread out like the rain. I wished I could go up to her and tell her everything's going to be fine, but being demon lord of the western lands touching humans let alone talking to them is beneath me.
end POV
flashback-
Kagome just came back from fuming over an argument she and Inuyasha had about how weak and useless she was and how if Kikyou was here they would half to rarely rest. She felt a little guilty for S.I.T Inuyasha so many times before she left to go back home, so she came back early to apologize to him until she saw "them" together declaring their love for each other blah… blah …. Blah(d.d:you get the idea now back to Kagome). She was so angry that she sat him until he went 6 feet under and then she ran. She ran until her muscles told her to stop but even after that she still ran she didn't know were she was running to she just wanted to get away from what she was running from. That's how she found herself under "that" tree after she stopped gasping for air she walked even though her muscles were sore to the tree of the ages, and that's were he found her.
-end flashback
She was still in deep thought when he came up to her he grabbed her hand gently in his and looked out into the cloud filled sky the covered the moon and stars.
When she felt his hand on hers she squeezed his hands harder in her small fail ones and looked back up into the rain/
Together under the thousand year old tree they stayed watching the rain come and go, both hopping that the night would never end.
