Summary: Just a cute interaction between Tina and Mike.
Splish Splash
Tina didn't know why she did it, but she still did. However, she wasn't expecting Mike to retaliate…and retaliate he did.
It had started out in the kitchen. The weather was pleasantly warm, a nice, subtle breeze had made its way through the stuffy house, and the two teens had taken it upon themselves to get a nice glass of ice water to drink.
In doing so, Tina had traced her finger around the rim of the glass before dipping it into the chilly liquid. Smirking to herself, she had retrieved her finger and promptly flicked the water at Mike's face.
Momentarily stunned by such an action, Mike had turned to face his attacker. Which led to where they were now.
Mike dipped his entire hand in the glass of water and splashed Tina in the face like she had done; only this time, there were more than a few droplets of water.
Not being one to go down without a fight, Tina set down her glass of water, but not before pulling out an ice cube, which she proceeded to drop down Mike's back. Watching the him squirm because of the cold, Tina couldn't help but laugh.
"You think that's funny?" Mike stated, a mischievous look in his eyes.
Tina did not like that look. It just meant trouble. But before she could successfully escape, Mike grabbed her around the middle, pulled the neck of her shirt away from her skin, and dumped the glass of ice water.
"Eek! Cold! Cold!" Tina shrieked, flailing about in the kitchen.
Mike crossed his arms, a satisfied smile on his face. But that was soon washed away when Tina splashed him in the face with her own glass of water. Sputtering, Mike grabbed his empty glass, filled it with more water, and threw it at his cackling girlfriend.
"Two can play at that game," Tina remarked giddily, as she proceeded to do the same.
Sure, water fights could seem immature, but the excitement and bubbling laughter that resulted from it was worth so much more.
