Hey, I'm back with another story. It goes great with the song Jolene by Dolly Parton. I don't own Inuyasha. I hope you like it.
It was a beautiful day, the sky was bright blue with little clouds in the sky. The trees and flowers had all bloom and the animals were out talking and busy of what they had to be done for the day. Inuyasha's Forest was no different. The Goshinboku's emerald leaves blowing in the slight wind. The ivy slowly crawled over the sides on the well that stood near the Goshinboku. The ivy hung as if so divine had put it there.
The only thing out of place in Inuyasha's Forest was the girl sitting by the Goshinboku. Her long black hair looked dull in the sunlight. Her hair was placed in a loose ponytail with two pieces of her hair fall in front of her pale face. She had the sense of gave yard soil and ashes. Her blank eyes stared ay the well across from her.
She was brought out of her thoughts as she felt the familiar aura of her recantation. A girl in a green school uniform walked towards the well as the slight breeze blew her long raven her behind her. She felt an all to familiar aura and she tried to hind the tension from her chocolate brown eyes. She was the miko from the future.
The future miko walked carefully towards the well. Not knowing what to expect and cursing her stupidity for not carrying her bow with her. She knew she had to be careful. When she reached the Goshinboku. Kikyou, made of ash and grave yard soil, stepped out in front of her.
"Kagome, we need to talk." Kikyou said unemotionally.
"About what?" Kagome, the miko from the future, asked preparing to run if need be.
"Inuyasha." Kikyou said.
"What about him." Kagome asked not knowing where this was going.
"I want you to stop seeing him." Kikyou said without a hint of feeling.
"Why?' Kagome asked getting angry.
'How could Kikyou ask me something like that.' Kagome thought.
"Because he is suppose to come to hell with me." Kikyou said.
"I can't do that." Kagome said.
"Why? You could have your choice of men. But I could never love again. I can't compete with you. My happiness depends on you. And whatever you decided to do, Kagome." Kikyou said with a little plea in her voice.
"I'm sorry Kikyou but me and Inuyasha love each other. Your time with him is over. can't you let him be happy." Kagome asked sadly.
"But…" Kikyou started but then stopped.
"But what? Inuyasha had suffered so much. Don't you think it's right for him to be happy?" Kagome asked again.
"Your right," Kikyou said sadly and then disappeared.
Just then a tall, strong Inu-hanyou came out of the trees with worry amber eyes. His fire rat kimono flying around him as he landed on the ground. He rush over to Kagome and quickly looked over her.
"What happen? Are you alright?" Inuyasha asked worried.
"I'm alright. We just had a little talk." she said as she wrapped her arms around him.
"About what?" Inuyasha asked curiously and a relief that she was alright.
"Nothing to worry about my koinu," Kagome said as she kissed him on the lips softly.
With the feeling that Kikyou won't be bothering them anymore they headed back to the village where their friends awaited them.
