Cutie Mark (Backstory also): As the picture implies, it's a bright shooting star. But instead of the colors of the stream behind it, it's just yellow light. This signifies a bright (as in smart and in happiness) and fast pony, who is like a shooting star. When Midnight Shine was a filly in Cloudsdale, everyone thought her unable to fly, as all her classmates could. She was sad for a while, but finally started looking in books to find out how. Once Midnight did that, she tried to fly, and it worked! That night, she got her Cutie Mark. She found out she could fly twice as fast as all of her classmates, and knew it was all thanks to books. From then on, she dedicated her life to intelligence and speed.
Appearance: The pony in the picture looks just like Midnight Shine in body shape, but since I can't draw or find a picture of her well, the pony in the pic doesn't have Midnight's colors.
