It all started with a moment of weakness. An exchange of gentle caresses and adulterous whispers. Cold arms wrapped tightly around a warm body and soft lips trailed over alabaster skin. One night of passion became guilty glances and awkward silences. Warm words became cold shoulders and longing stares. They didn't miss the touch, but the passion and joy of the touch. Devotion grew one sidedly and soon a small request was made.

"Let me make you happy." Isabella Swan was an odd human. She declared her love for Edward, yet she always put so much space between them. Her time and energy was spent being as close to the one person that truly hated her as possible. Hate wasn't the correct word for the feeling anymore though, no it was a strange acceptance; acceptance of her presence and the acknowledgement of her as a person.

"That is an impossible feat." 87 years of unhappiness couldn't be fixed by some human with a death wish. Her mate didn't even make her happy, her tryst with her brother's girlfriend was proof of that.

"I can give you something that no one else can." Bella grabbed the immortal's hand. She trailed the cold digits over her stomach, the slight stiff bulge caught Rosalie's attention. It was nearly unnoticeable. "He's ours, Rose." If she weren't in shock she would have corrected Bella's use of her nickname.

"How far along are you?" The blonde whispered. She could see on the human's face just how much she wanted this. How much she wanted this to be theirs, this moment and this child. Rosalie should have thought about Emmett, but her hand pressed closer to the human's stomach. Her arm wrapped around the girl and their bodies pressed tightly together.

"18 weeks." The human whispered.

"A boy?" Her lip wobbled as venom tears welled in her eyes. Bella nodded slowly, her eyes pooling with tears too. "We're having a boy." Rosalie pressed a kiss to the human's forehead. The blonde wanted this, she wanted it more than anything. She wanted it enough to forsake the love and trust of her mate. "Our son."

This is just a short one-shot to hold you over until I repost my stories. I'm planning to repost everything after the New Year. Leave a review and let me know what you think. I'm rewriting all of my stories except for Where Loyalities Lie (but I will be putting it back up and continuing it, I promise). I'm sorry for disappearing and I hope all of you are still interested in reading my stories when I begin to write again, thank you.
